Fantastic Location close to Te Papa, the Harbour, Restaurants and Supermarket. 1 Bedroom Suite was a great size for my family of 2 adults & 1 child, even with a Rollaway in the lounge. Kitchen & Laundry Facilities were great for rainy nights, and Daily Servcing meant we didn't need to worry about Rubbish Build up.

Perfectly located right next to Te Papa (and close to everything else in Wellington) with spacious, well-appointed and clean rooms. Was nice to come back "home" after a long day in the rain and wind to a cozy and comfortable private space. Totally contactless experience from checkin to checkout (which I prefer) which was smooth and trouble-free. Will happily stay here again next time I visit Welly, and recommend to others with zero hesitation.

Brilliant location. Right next to Takina Conference Centre, perfect if you are attending a conference. Short walk to everything, harbour, Cuba street, town centre. I had a harbour view which was a bonus in wet weather. I could take in the views with a wine in hand from my room. Lovely balcony to enjoy. Although be aware of the wind noise. The office was adjoining too so created noise such as phone ringing and knocks on the wall. Quite annoying. Room was clean and well appointed and serviced each day. Easy check in. I came in after midnight and instructions were clear. A cold beer and fresh milk awaiting me was a delight. Bag storage after check out was also appreciated. Overall a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend.

The location of the U Residence Hotel was perfect for attending a conference at the Takina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, which is next door and for accessing the Museum, the waterfront and restaurants. The unit had everything you needed, such as a good kitchen and a washing machine and dryer.

Hotel room was fine and location was perfect and suited my needs but was disappointed with the check in service that there was no follow up prior to arrival that my ID photos had not been received ahead of check in time even though I had several emails prior then no communication until the next morning. I believe there could have been a better follow up process to make this simpler ahead of time. Luckily the help line number at the hotel was able to give the code after confirmation of ID Note- Toilet seat lid was also just sitting on the back of the bowl. think it just needs to be refastened

I was in Wellington or a conference and this was an ideal place to stay. Had everything I needed and was a great location. Would definitely stay again.

A clean and comfortable room, with all of the necessary amenities. Good size room and comfortable beds. Unfortunately the street noise at night is loud because of the location, so recommended ear plugs, but otherwise a pleasant stay. Easy check in process

We stayed for only one night but this was a great experience as it was super convenient to Te Papa where we were attending a NZ citizenship ceremony. We did not spend too much time in the apartment but everything was available and the bed was really comfortable. Noise was at a minimum and the heat pump made the room lovely and warm. There was lots of free entertainment on the TV with complimentry Netflix, Neon and lots more other free providers plus Freeview. Two minor things that need attention was the basin plug leaks and the ranch slider needs some attention (silicon spray). The bathroom was very compact. All in all a great place to stay and good value for money. We were in room G - a studio Queen room.
