We stayed two nights at 22 Weligama Bay on the beach. They have a lovely pool and bar area. The staff were very attentive, they have a set menu for dinner and the food was very good. Our room right on the beach was amazing. The whole resort was clean and tidy.

Recently, my wife and I had the privilege of spending two nights, along with my brother-in-law's family, in the Ocean-View Suite at "22 Weligambay" Hotel. the hotel was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were extremely comfortable. The food too was very fresh and tasty - and, were nicely presented at all times. All members of the staff, under the guidance of the General Manager Manoj, were very efficient, polite, courteous and friendly. I do not have any hestation in recommending a stay at "22 Weligambay" for anyone travelling Down-south of Sri Lanka, and looking for comfortable accommodation at reasonable rates. The hotel is attractively located right on the beautiful Weligama beach, with room-balconies facing the clean, blue sea. The hotel staff will advise you on various activities you can get involved in during your stay - like boat-rides, surfing, whale-watching and viewing the spectacular sunrise (on a catamaran etc.), if the weather is permissible. My wife and I have decided to visit "22 Weligambay" for a longer stay, if opportunity permits, during our next holiday in Sri Lanka. Hats-off to "22 Weligambay" and its staff..! We had the top villa for the three of us. It was a great size gorgeous balcony over looking the ocean. Staff were very friendly, and accommodating. Fabulous breakfast. Hotel was directly on the beach. Definitely recommend this hotel to families, couples and singles.

Великолепный отель, персонал отзывчив и аккуратен, очень вкусная еда. Народу немного проживает, т.к. отель небольшой, и потому на пляже просторно и океан прекрасен. Лежаки и у бассейна и под пальмами и на пляже. Рядом чудные инструктора по серфингу. И до движовых Мириссы и Велигамы 5 минут езды. Идеальный отпуск!

Booked by our SL Tour operator. We had a room with balcony and view over the pool, despite the rain it was a pleasant enough stay. Al a carte dinner which was adequate and buffet breakfast which had a reasonable selection and staff were pleasant and helpful. Right on the beach which I’m sure is a bonus in better weather. Had a aruveydic massage at the other property which was ok.

Nice enough however a little baffled by the rating . We only booked last minute and the sea view room wasn’t cheap but I appreciate that . Lovely view and big spacious room with a great view ! Everything is very pleasant but all the surfaces in the room needed a really good wipe down , they were sticky and the floor hadn’t been cleaned properly, it looked like chocolate stuck to it in places . We were only there for one night so went with it but did mention to reception ( nothing was done , think it was a language barrier potentially) . Everything else was clean , bathroom , bedding etc Breakfast ok though got our cooked order wrong ( again a language issue I think ) , food in the pool bar decent too. I would have given this a 4 if it hadn’t been for the stickiness as that’s just lazy cleaning. Would I recommend- undecided

Great value stay at 22. It’s right on the beach which has a surf school too, we took an 8am beginners lesson which was a lot of fun! The staff in the hotel are super friendly and attentive. Tuktuk drivers are a 2 minute walk away and Mirissa town is only a 5 minute drive away! Food at the hotel was very pleasant and the rooms were nice and cool! We enjoyed having access to the pool where you can see the beach aswell. Definitely recommend
