Great Place

Well located within walking distance to COSTCO warehouse, Old Navy factory outlet, Target, and some restaurants. Hotel is pretty new and nicely furnished. Like the “open concept” reception area with all the power and USB sockets easily available. Has a small swimming pool and a gym if you ever need to do a little workout.

I was traveling on business and had a last-minute visit to Houston and needed a place to rest for the night before my flight in the AM. While the bed was very comfortable and room sufficient, I was not fond of the clock being an hour off. I settled in late and didn’t even realize it when I programmed my alarm. I would like to think this could be something they can check during turnovers. I luckily made it to the airport in time, but this could have been a start to a long day if I missed my flight. Overall, the staff were great, friendly (even at 2AM when I needed Tylenol). For something reasonably priced and comfortable I would stay again…. but definitely now checking clocks on my own in the future. While I didn’t use the outdoor area it was cute.

Came in from a long 12 hour late drive, greeted by friendly staff. But… very unhelpful. Sign in room say call down for anything we need. They didn’t have extra cups. No shower caps, they’re out. Towels and an extra blanket we were told you can walk down from the 4th floor and get it if you’d like them, that they won’t bring them to the room. Very rude. Quiet hotel… but could work on customer service.

I haven't traveled in a while. Decided to go for a weekend trip to Houston. We drove from Dallas to Houston. We have AAA didn't notice a difference at all in hotel booking prices from any of the hotels in the area. Prices were the same through direct booking website, Tripadvisor, and AAA site. Stayed at Tru by Hilton Webster Nasa. 5/5 for location! This hotel is directly behind shops (Total Wine, Marshall's, Ross). Across from these shops is the mall (Macy's, Dillard's, Forever 21). Resturants galore! Perry's Steakehouse, Del Frisco, Whiskey Cake Bar, Mc Donald's. On the opposite side of the freeway less than 5 minutes away. Multiple tex-mex restaurants, seafood spots, Chili's, Saltgrass Steakhouse, so many more. Nightlife bars near the mall and on the opposite side of the freeway open until 2am - 3am. Places that are open 24hrs to eat besides IHOP. Less than 8 minutes from Space Museum. Less than. 25 minutes from multiple beaches for walking. 5/5 cleanliness. Our room was spotless. I brought my own bleach wipes and lysol just in case but upon arrival the room smelled like bleach. 0/5 Breakfast. Simply not recommended. There are nice breakfast spots in the area that I would go instead. Breakfast was bagles, yogurt boiled egg, drink station, automated pancake maker, cereal. 0/5 Rate for Room. Was on the 4th floor. Small room. no sitting area, no microwave, mini fridge. Shower only no bath tub. Small outdoor pool. Small gym. Ahem...Holiday Inn next door maybe a better offer due to tiny room size. 2 nights approx $300 with tax, not worth it. 5/5 wifi available. No issues 5/5 Parking. Free. Plenty of space. 0/5 Amenities. No hotel bar, no hotel restaurant.

It's the little things that make or break a hotel - and the Tru by Hilton Webster is broken. Some examples: No carpet in the room Ground-in grime in the shower Very noisy AC No closet No fan in the bathroom No shelf in the shower Feather pillows (bad for those allergic) Inexperienced front desk staff And numerous other details It's a shame, since this could be a good hotel, if someone in corporate simply cared enough to make it so.

My family get to visit NASA during kids' fall break. We enjoy the stay in Tru Hotel. When we come, my two kids immediately sit on the floating chairs, and enjoyed their swing. The room was clean and comfortable. We visited the pool and enjoyed it. It was clean with good maintenance. My kids like the trendy setting of the room. My son like the strong wifi of this hotel. The breakfast was nice and warm. Good stay. In fact, it is one of the best hotel stays for my family in 2023.
