Stayed at Vythiri Resort, Wayanad – Lakkidi, in a water fall stream view room, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location, right in the heart of the rainforest, made the setting truly magical, and the property was kept impressively clean and well-maintained throughout. The spacious room and warm hospitality made the stay even more memorable. The Kerala and continental food was excellent, the guided walk with the naturalist was insightful, and the Ayurveda treatments were deeply relaxing. Early mornings were a delight with bird watching, and the resort staff were always happy to assist and guide us, making the experience even more enjoyable. The resort beautifully blends luxury with nature, making it an ideal spot to disconnect and recharge — truly perfect for couples seeking a romantic and rejuvenating getaway.

If you love rainforests, mountains, and nature, this resort is the perfect escape. Well-maintained with warm hospitality, it even has a beautiful stream flowing through the property. The highlight was the activities. At 7:00 PM, Avinash, a snake expert, conducted a fascinating workshop on snakes of Wayanad—kids will especially enjoy it. The next morning, we joined a nature walk led by Sijo, whose deep knowledge of birds and forests made the experience memorable. Spotting a rat snake at the end was thrilling! The natural pool was amazing, though the swimming area was average. Only drawback: checkout at 11:00 AM felt rushed after the nature walk. The only negative part of Theo’s trip is the receptionist insisted on a sharp 11 AM checkout, leaving no time to freshen up after the nature walk. We came back at 11:20 am. So we vacated and kept the bag in lounge and went for a nature walk. Otherwise , it’s a wonderful and memorable stay. :) Thoroughly enjoyable stay!

It’s really a wonderful experience with Vythiri Resort. We booked the honeymoon package and they make our experience as best and memmorable. Very friendly staffs and Ambience for couples, Family and Even a group of friends. One of their must experience is their variety of cuisines. They have the most talented chefs I believe. The food they are providing is the best and top notch. In the package they gave us the wonderfull experience including a candle light dinner and a see off gift.

A wonderful stay in the middle of nature! Visiting during the rainy season made the forest resort feel magical with lush greenery, misty views, and the soothing sound of rain. Cozy rooms, great food, and friendly staff made the experience even better. Perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. Highly recommended!

I booked vythiri resort for my daughter birthday. I must say what an expierence. It is a perfect rainforest resort. Breathtaking views. I must tell that I booked family tree house for 2 nights but after 1 night they upgraded me to honeymoon pool villa. Ufff what a vila with a private pool. I must thanks to entire management especially Avinash rodkae who really took a great care of my daughter and us. And also I would like to mention the names who made my stay special Jaymoti, Tony Anthony and the entire team. Feel Iike they were all part of family and I am staying at home.

The bestest, more than expected experience i had here. I really really enjoyed my stay and carrying those beautiful moments forever. It’s is lush green forest. It is the green rain forest and many different birds always makes their singing ***** with water flowing forever which is the healing to soul. It refreshed my mind completely and i still carrying it in my nerves. So fresh, so calm, so peaceful as well as adventurous to trek to see the waterfalls. Mr. Avinash, who took us to trek made our stay more pleasant by giving us moments to explore those. It is my bestest experience so far with nature and it changed my mind towards calmness. Food is ultimate here. Many other 5 star hotels won’t give this amazing taste and variety. Everything is healing and out of the box experience. Thank you so much ❣️ Worth the money spent.

Had a fantastic stay at Vythiri Resort. Everything was top notch- food, hospitality, nature walk with Avinash sir, and live performances during dinner. The resort is housed inside a rainforest (!) and has a natural waterfall too! Highly recommend if you are looking for a nature retreat.
