Red Roof Inn Gurnee - Waukegan

Found a syringe between the wall and the bed so when my family and kids are asking what that is. Didn't want to upgrade their room just make us go upstairs with no elevator I have a ton of stuff. He said it's an upgrade but it's the same room same size. Then are the sudden there is another room across the way from my original room. This one did not really smell smell okay. Not very friendly with pets.

Great place Medina was absolutely wonderful, and the bed was very comfortable.

I called the hotel asking how much a deposit would be with two kids and two dogs, I was very specific to ensure ease with check in, Night staff around 9 when I got there basically told me they quoted me for a room for TWO CHILDREN and two dogs, then told they couldn't accommodate me unless I booked a second room, however would not offer me a conjoining room, mind you all of this after this man looked me in my face and told me he thought I meant two kids and two dogs...... just not good business. Waiting on a refund, was told by front desk clerk the manager was called and approved a refund, but not showing anywhere so far so we will see. Very dissatisfied with this.
