Our cottage is a base camp from which you can enjoy the beauty of the northwoods in Upper Peninsula Michigan. Plan your summer get-away fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or ATVing. Venture out to view the numerous waterfalls, hike the Ottawa National Forest or Sylvania Wilderness, drive through the Keweenaw peninsula or tour Pictured Rocks. Autumn is the time to take fall color tours: Black River and the Porcupine Mountain as well as hunting. In the winter, snowmobile, ice fish, downhill or cross-country ski, snowshoe and hike. We had a fabulous stay! Very close to waterfalls and amazing hiking. The fall colors were just amazing. The hosts were great, the home was well stocked and had everything we needed. We loved getting cozy by the fireplace during the couple chilly nights we had. We definitely hope to return!!

Nice location for visiting Sylvania Wilderness and Western UP. Place was clean, host responded quickly and were friendly. Check in and check out was simple. I would definitely come back.

Hideout in the woods
This is a perfect place to stay if you want to experience the Northwoods area. The wifi isn't great here but hopefully that's not what you're here for. Awesome well communicative hosts! Easy check in and check out.
