5 stars just doesn’t feel enough for this incredible hotel. We visited Hemingways for our honeymoon this summer and had the most incredible stay. We checked in to our ocean view room which was beautiful. It had a great balcony and a stunning view. We left for a few days and upon our return were upgraded to the most incredible suite. We were blown away with not only the room but the incredible staff that came each day to clean and replenish the room. Every single meal we ate was fantastic with a great range of authentic meals we never ate the same thing twice. From the moment you step into the restaurant you are met with smiling faces and incredibly helpful staff, particularly the hostess Redempter and the waiter Tom who made our stay even more wonderful. No request was ever too much and we can’t thank them both enough for being so great. The cocktails in the bar are fantastic and are great value. The bar is a lovely place to sit and relax before and after dinner and they offer a fantastic lunch menu. Again, the staff always greet you with smiling faces and a caring nature. We didn’t leave the hotel very much as it was such a nice place to be however when we did, the reception staff were great at organising a tuktuk that would take us to any local restaurant that we wanted to visit. If you’re considering booking Hemingways, we would confidently recommend and will hopefully be back again sometime soon!

From the moment we were planning and making bookings, Monica was so hands on and we already felt welcome. When we arrived at the airport the transfer team was already so warm. When we finally arrived, it felt like stepping into a dream. The property is stunning—nestled between lush greenery and the breathtaking turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Every sunrise here felt like a gift, and every moment was layered with peace, comfort, and beauty. The staff are truly the heart of the experience. Warm, professional, and genuinely kind, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Every smile felt sincere, every interaction thoughtful. From the front desk to the restaurant team the chefs allways smiled and gave recommendations, the wait staff was just superb and housekeeping—each person we encountered added a special touch to our stay, I truly appreciate all the staff: Redempta, Patrick, Tom, Husna, Austine, Godfrey really everyone and I mean. The rooms are spacious, immaculate, and beautifully designed with serene ocean views. Waking up to the sound of waves and watching dhows drift by was a daily highlight. And the food? Absolutely divine. Fresh seafood, deliciously prepared meals, and beautifully presented cocktails made every meal mouth watering and filling. Hemingways isn’t just a hotel—it’s a feeling. It’s calm mornings by the beach, laughter over sunset drinks, and quiet moments that linger long after you leave. Whether you’re looking to rest, reconnect, or simply be present in a beautiful place, this is where you want to be. They ensure you feel at home. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories. Can’t wait to return. We truly appreciate every prompt response every late night change, every disruption you accommodated. Ohhh and the gym..... Its a complete package!
