Hotel was nice and clean. Did not eat at the hotel but there was lots of food places near by. Also not too far from attractions which you can walk to.

Stayed four nights for a conference across the street at the Hilton. I have stayed here once before and had a good stay. It seems to have gone downhill, as the service was terrible no matter who I spoke to at the front desk. Housekeeping never came my entire stay despite: 1) being told housekeeping is every 2 days (according to one person ) or 3 days (according to a different person); 2) requesting trash pickup, extra hangars, two clean towels on Day 2 and being told it would happen while I was gone for the day; 3) requesting it again on the next day since it didn't happen previously. Again, I returned to my room at the end of the day and it had not happened. Explained this to the front desk upon checkout on Day 4 and they were "shocked." No attempt to rectify/compensate though. Another problem was I missed a delivery one evening because the phone was not working in my room. They never fixed it. I was dealing with a different person each time and not a single one was able to address any of the above issues. Last time I am staying here.

It was a bit far away from city center, but accomodation was really great.

Lovely hotel. Clean, spacious rooms. close to several restaurants and bars, yet very quiet.

The hotel's name suggests great things, but unfortunately, it doesn't live up to its promise. The reception seems relatively new; I get the feeling that someone different is being trained every day and has relatively little idea what to do. Our room was large and clean, but the amenities were a disaster. The air conditioning was EXTREMELY loud and didn't cool at all. Three hours on full power made a difference of just two degrees. The toilet didn't flush, and you had to open the cistern and flush it manually. Also, no one informed us that room service only comes to your room if you specifically request it. We stayed in eight hotels on this trip, but this was by far the worst experience.

Very classic decoration, but the decoration has been renovated, so it is very clean and tidy, very comfortable

The hotel is in a prime location with easy access to all directions; the rooms are stylish and comfortable; the service is warm and considerate... It's a great place to stay for a vacation. I will stay here again when I come to DC!

Too old, windows can't be opened, poor service
