Cute little cottage with a great location Looks over the river, nice deck and patio. The host info is incorrect- had to ask neighbours for owners contact info to get in. Vrbo needs to change host contact info.

Really disappointed absolutely spider infested inside ceilings was like a horror movie, back door was broken wouldn’t open “backyard private beach” wasn’t maintained spoke to the property owner who said he would send someone over to fix the property and clean it while we were there nothing got done. It’s an amazing view poorly ran I would not stay here again I had hoped with the communication I had with the owner things would get done they were not also it had many child hazards broken electrical sockets uncovered and broken air vents not to mention the basement was just stain covered couches with a broken fold out couch with no air

Unfortunately, despite the dream location right on the water's edge and breathtaking sunsets, the accommodation did not live up to our expectations.VERY dirty and withered house, many spiders inside, several non-functional items (microwave, hood, broken chairs, condemned patio door, etc.)Not to mention the rather limited and inconclusive exchanges with the host.In short, a shame because the site was very well located and close to everything in Wasaga Beach, not to mention the beautiful sunsets.

First off, the instructions were unclear upon arrival. The number provided was not the right one. When we arrived, we were waiting outside with no other way to reach the host. The beach was neglected, inside the house had a broken vent, unsafe dishwasher, dirty sheets, vents were filthy, and more. After speaking with Vrbo, they finally got a hold of the host. That same night he showed up at 11:45pm and was upset that we had spoken with Vrbo. Overall, pictures were misleading and the communication was terrible. We do not recommend this property.

Cute cottage Cute cottage, good communication with property management, large outdoor space, shared firepit and beach with other rental cottage right next door, busy traffic on waterway (didn't bother us), short car ride to public beach, needed a few extra touches but enjoyed our stay

Wasaga stay There was a group of us who stayed here for two nights. It was close to the beach and you cannot swim in the water behind the property as it is water access for boats etc. to come in and out of the area. When we got there there was a few key items missing such as dishwasher pods, dish soap, oven mitts, hand soap in the bathroom. I did message the host about this and they offered to have the housekeeper bring some the next morning. However, we had already gone to Walmart to replace them. It also states that it sleeps 6:00 but there was not enough bedding and towels for six people. So luckily some of us brought some anyways. For example, the futon downstairs is listed as a bed, but there was no pillow or blankets to go with it. The host was very nice and helpful and very responsive. Check-in was easy. Outside. The garbage area was overflowing and very disgusting. We honestly weren't even sure where to put the garbage without just leaving it outside for the animals to get to. Overall a nice place in a good area. It was nice and quiet there. The outdoor portion is absolutely beautiful. Be aware that the walk to the beach has no sidewalk. If you are traveling with kids. There is quite a large shoulder on the side of the road though.

Nice little getaway but needs some TLC Place was good overall and do recommend. Pros: - Waterfront property and location was great. It was cool to see the boats and jet-skiis going up and down the channel every day. Sunsets were amazing! - Furniture such as the couch/chairs seem to be newer - Beds were comfortable - Bathroom and shower were very nice and clean Cons: - I think cleanliness was our biggest concern. Although we were given clean towels to shower with, the overall cleanliness of the cottage was disappointing. It may have been swept before we got there and looked tidy but this place needs a deep clean. My son was excited to sleep on the top bunk bed but it was so dusty up there (probably not been used in awhile) that he decided not to. I was also looking under the couch to see if any of his toys had fallen under it and it looked pretty filthy under there. - Went to BBQ our steaks and when I opened the lid, I was greeted by a mouse who scurried away. Kind of turned us off and was worried about any contamination left by it's droppings and decided not to use it. Might be wise to clean this BBQ and buy a good cover for it or seal the holes underneath to prevent it from returning - Screen door to patio was broken - not the owners fault but geese littered the lawn and left a ton of droppings. If given a proper professional cleaning each time rather than a touch up, this place would for sure be a gem.

Clean, comfortable cottage Stayed at this cottage for a 3 night getaway. Since the cottage is only 2 years old, everything is new, clean, comfortable and very bright. Great location right on the water, which made it a great spot to watch the boats go by, and spectacular sunsets. Grocery store and Walmart are only 5 minutes away, as are other stores, and restaurants.
