This is a rubbish hotel. They don't offer refunds for stays of at least three nights. The hotel facilities are very old, the residents are of poor quality, and they dare to racially discriminate against Chinese tourists in public.

Good location but lacks some privacy
The hotel is in a great spot — right on the beach with beautiful ocean views just steps away. Perfect base for exploring South Maui and chilling at Keawakapu Beach.
However, the room was a bit smaller than expected, and the biggest downside was the huge glass window facing the hallway — everyone walking by could see straight inside unless we kept the curtains closed all the time. Felt a bit awkward.
Overall still a decent stay because of the location and beach access, but definitely could use some improvements in room layout and privacy.

While the woman working the desk when I checked in was nice and helpful other staff was less than helpful and if you asked them anything or asked help getting a lawn chair because they were locked up and the ones that were there were filthy and bowed they were putting them out, argued about getting you a kawn chair and they told you you were rude and asked if you could see because you interrupted their personal phone calls.

Outstanding condo building, assigned parking space, excellent location with beautiful beach where you can snorkel. Great 808 convenience store downstairs. Various beach items available for reasonable rental prices.

This hotel is a must stay when in Maui! Gorgeous views of the ocean from the room and only steps away from the beach. The hotel has an onsite store with plenty of goods to choose from. Water activity rentals are available. Location is fairly convenient as many stores and restaurants are a short drive away. Staff are welcoming and helpful! Room was comfortable and felt like a home. Will definitely return! Mahalo to the wonderful staff at Mana Kai and 808!

Me pareció de muy buen gusto encontrar al dueño de la propiedad recibiendo clientes y entregando sus habitaciones. El lugar está muy bueno ya que cuenta con playa y con alberca. La habitación pequeña, pero muy funcional y con una cama muy cómoda. Lo que sí falla es el servicio de limpieza que no entra diario a la habitación a hacer su trabajo. No limpian los botes de basura, no cambian las toallas, no hacen las camas. Entonces esto lo convierte en un apartamento o un Airbnb. Espero que no se les haga costumbre que en los hoteles esperemos otros servicios. Fuera de eso….. todo impecable.
