Tru by Hilton Waco South

Stayed here for 2 days . The outside of the property and lobby area was nice and clean. Location was good walking distance to a shopping center. However the room was small , and there was a bug on the bed.  I went to talk to the front desk and asked to be moved rooms. I also asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. After the receptionist “spoke” with the GM all they were able to do is switch me rooms.

Persons with bad backs should stay away. The mattress was very soft, lumpy, and sagging and ever move in the bed caused loud a loud squeak. I have a marginal back and laying down normally makes my back feel better. In this case my back was worse in the morning. The in room clock needed to be reset and when I asked the front desk person how to do it, she acted as if she was surprised there was a clock in the room and did not offer to get someone to help me get it set on the right time. My wife labeled the motel as "never again".

OK OK hotel in Waco. Location is good. The hallways and elevators seemed dirty but the room was clean. I tried some milk at breakfast but it was full of lumps. I checked the fridge and all of the milk had expired several days ago. I told the staff but the next morning the same expired milk was in the fridge. They had not been removed. I expected them to replace the old milk with new ones.

Must stay when in Waco! What a beautiful hotel! We loved our nice clean room! At check in the employee was so helpful and told us all about the hotel and the area! Loved it here!
