Quality Inn West Lafayette - University Area

Ok place but way overpriced for the conditions, facilities, and services

We loved the staff, Marie and Monier, and how they accomodated us with 2 king suite rooms since our double bed room was under construction plus very friendly with casual conversation. Perfect location to Purdue U 'Boiler up Hammer down' for graduation plus hotel is across the street from Wal-Mart. Top floor under construction to upgrade the 80's look. We will certainly stay here again.

The site for this property said they had an indoor pool area. I was in town for a family funeral and thought using the pool might help with the stress. Upon checking in, I discovered that the pool was not open due to some renovations to the property. In this case, it would have been nice to see some kind of notification on the website about it. Additionally, "Hot Breakfast availabe" was promoted. "Hot Breakfast" turned out to be one waffle machine in the Breakfast area and Luke warm coffee out of a thermal pump dispenser. Every other property 've stayed at under their banner would have not only waffles, but some variety of egg dish and breakfast meat (sausage, etc.) As part of their breakfast offering. My handicap accessible room was nice and clean, but there was only one trash can in the room, and that was in the bathroom. The roll in shower didn't have a long enough curtain, so after showering, I found myself surrounded with puddles of water on the floor where it had leaked from the shower area. Not quite a replacement for the non usable pool area though. I would not recommend this property as a location as there are many other hotels and motels in this college town.
