"If you are looking for a nice hotel in Gerardmer to use as a base for touring the Vosges, then look no further. The hotel has excellent views over the lake and it is a 30 minute walk into the town. Lovely rooms, with an excellent shower. We had one of the newer rooms over the pool and enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the evening. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Would thoroughly recommend."

"A real character property that feels like you have gone back in time. It is conveniently situated near a main road but this is not intrusive. The owners made us feel welcome and showed us around the grounds. The swimming pool was a big plus on a hot day. Card payment was accepted for breakfast. Would definitely stay again."
