After spending a damp, chilly day at the Volcanoes National Park, it was wonderful to have a warm and welcoming room to decompress. The space was peaceful, clean, and somehow cozy and spacious at the same time. The recommendation of the area on the back of the room map was a really nice bonus.

We loved this place. We were only here for one night just so we could see the Volcanoes National Park and a bit of Hilo. You check yourself in, keys and info are left for you which is super easy. We got such a wow factor walking into the room, it was spacious and beautifully decorated, so different from all the beach hotels. There are also restaurants and shops just down the road which is handy. The only thing I'd say that may be an issue for some people is the noise, being in amongst the trees there is a lot of bird noise through the night. I know that can't be helped but if you're a light sleeper it may be something to consider

Caution! The photos are deceptive, this is a run-down place. The toilet was not cleaned and the flush was broken. Since there is no one on site anymore, you have to contact us by email, which wouldn't be a problem if it didn't take a few days for someone to get back to you and then with 100 excuses.
