Nanuku Resort Fiji

We spent the entirety of our honeymoon at Nanuku Resort and we couldn't recommend it enough to other couples! The staff, service, room (we stayed at a Beachfront Spa Suite), food, amenities and available excursions were all incredible.

Highly recommend this resort! The location was visually stunning.. but most of all the people made you feel like family!!

From the moment we arrived at Nanuku, we knew we were in for something special. Greeted with fresh coconuts, flowers in our hair, and a traditional warrior drum ceremony, the warm welcome set the tone for a truly unforgettable stay. We stayed in a garden villa with our own private pool—complete with “Bula Von Haartman Family” spelled out in rocks at the bottom! Inside, we found birthday messages crafted from leaves, a welcome bottle of champagne on ice, cookies, fruit, and bikes personalized for each family member. The villa had a walk-in closet, large tub, indoor and outdoor showers (yes—four showers total!), and plenty of space for a family. Kids Club: This is, hands-down, the best kids’ club I’ve ever experienced. Children 6–12 get a dedicated buddy, and younger kids receive their own private nanny. Our buddy joined the kids for beach play, meals, and nighttime adventures like frog catching and crab hunts. They made tie-dye shirts, swords engraved with their names, and even had a drink named after one of them! I was even invited to participate in the torch-lighting ceremony—apparently the first adult to do so. Thanks to the buddy program, I was able to sneak away guilt-free for a thrilling shark dive—something I couldn’t have done otherwise as a solo parent. Dining & Drinks: We didn’t do the meal plan, but breakfast was included. Dinner menus changed nightly with additional all-day offerings and a kids’ menu. Cocktails and mocktails were fresh, fun, and beautifully presented—lots of tropical flavors and options for vodka and gin lovers like me. Final Thoughts: Nanuku blends luxury with heart. It’s perfect for honeymoons, romantic escapes, and especially families. The warmth of the staff, the attention to detail, and the authentic Fijian experiences made this one of the best trips of our lives. Can’t wait to return.

Just spent 5 nights in this incredible resort. We hadn’t a suite for a family of four and absolutely had the best time. The resort feels high end but also beautifully homely. You know you’ve had a great holiday when you don’t want to leave! The staff are amazing and our children absolutely adored the “buddies” they’d been paired with at the kids club. We had a great time and would thoroughly recommend this place.

The resort is beautiful. The staff are kind and so accommodating. They welcome you and make every effort to ensure tgat you are comfortable and able to relax. My daughter is lactose intolerant and they tried to make sure the food they served her was dairy free. We came for a friends wedding but because we were traveling to such a beautiful, family friendly place, I also wanted to include my teenage children for a family vacation. We had a large villa with pool and right on the beach and everyone had space. It is very safe for kids. I was comfortable knowing that they could be semi- independent and the staff treated the kids very well. We all loved the cookies in the room and Lusi our house mama was so sweet. The grounds are gorgeous and it is peaceful and beautiful. I used the insect repellent constantly that was provided - its smells like lemongrass and it worked well for me - other people in my party who did not use it did get mosquito bites. Breakfast was delicious, with a beautiful view and a great way to start our day. I got spoiled by the delicious fruit, pastries, yogurts, juices, etc. I was afraid I was going to gain weight but maybe because we walked, rode bikes, and swam I did not! I also think we ate less processed food than we do at home. I got a little confused in which activities were included and which you have to sign up for but the staff is very nice and will answer clarifying questions. There is a reef on the beach of the hotel and you can snorkel that reef free of charge, additional snorkeling can be done with the hotel staff but that has to be booked in advance and that is an additional charge.
