Fairfield Inn & Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront

Awesome hotel!! This will be our new hotel for our yearly trips to Virginia Beach. Hotel and room were very nice and clean and breakfast was fantastic!! Pic is our view from our balcony!

I spent $800 for a 2-night stay at this hotel and I was very disappointed. Upon arrival at the hotel there was a note on the door that said to use key to enter the building and there was no one at the desk. I looked in my email and received a about a contactless Check-in entry. I downloaded the app and filled in the information. I couldn't check in through the app because it was after 12am the next day. I call the hotel and there was someone who answered the phone and told me they were at the desk. The room that I purchased was a king bed with a sofa bed, instead I received a handicap room with no sofa bed. The room was not cleaned upon arrival. There was a hair spray top left on the floor under the sink and milk in the refrigerator from prior guest. The dresser drawer was faulty and did not close. The hardware in the shower was loose. The receptionist the next morning was not willing to change my room or adjust the price due to the inconvenience. Housekeeping came to the room to change towels but did not make the bed. Breakfast was mediocre with 4 choices of eggs, potatoes, and 2 meats.

Convenient location, all rooms are oceanfront, friendly staff, complimentary breakfast and parking. Well maintained and clean rooms. Highly recommended for family staying

Room very spacious. Staff very helpful and courteous. Only downer was AC a bit loud. Location very good and close to many restaurants.

I did like the ocean view and the convenience of having breakfast included was great but the property needs more improvement. Room service was not done until 5pm which it's totally unacceptable. This was my second staying since 2024 but I don't think I won't stay again.
