Dawn is an absolutely wonderful host! Her home on the bay was the perfect getaway. Quaint, cozy, and just a mile from the beach. We especially loved sitting on the porch, watching the ducks swim by. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The location was ideal, and everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. We truly loved it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene escape. We’ll definitely be back!

Property was very clean. Literally a 5 minute drive to the beach or anywhere! Pool was amazing and clean. Clear view of F-18's flying in and out of base. Very cool!

What a beautiful respite during a tough time
We were in Virginia Beach to assist a critically ill relative. We didn’t want to stay in a hotel with the beach and party crowd. When I saw this listing I knew it was perfect. I was not disappointed. The pictures on the listing depict the home perfectly. Clean. White. Bright. Open. Lovely views of the bay and water bird activity. There is a great open kitchen ideal for cooking if you desire. The living room has a comfortable couch and large TV. The bedrooms are nice - especially the one with a view of the bay. Bathroom is very nice with a great shower. Sheets and towels were provided. Also Keurig and a Mister Coffee. If we are lucky enough to return for a vacation, we may not leave the sun porch!

Getaway

Waterfront Oasis
Fantastic little bungalow on a quiet residential street, only a 5-minute drive from the beach. We stayed in September and had use of the pool and kayaks - we even tried some fishing and crabbing from the yard. The house was well-appointed, and the host was absolutely fantastic from start to finish!
For those looking to see some fast airplanes, this was a good place to be during the Oceana Air Show. We kayaked out on the water and the Blue Angels flew directly overhead!

Perfect getaway!!!
I can’t say enough good things about our stay! The house was perfect and our host was wonderful. Only a few minutes from the beach but located in a quiet neighborhood, seemed like everything was a 5 minute drive away. House is clean and well kept. I recommend this perfect little oasis 100%!!
