Hotel Simius Playa ★★★★
"The food was very good, as was the breakfast buffet, although unfortunately there was little variety for such a 4-star hotel. We had booked a suite. The shower had a rainforest shower, which unfortunately didn't work. After showering, the bathroom was also flooded! What particularly annoyed me, however, was that even in a hotel like this, they charge an additional fee for the table: per person!!! I'd never been to Italy before, so I didn't know this was apparently common practice. I found it outrageous."
S'Incantu Resort ★★★
"We booked at the last minute. And we found kindness, availability and also professionalism. The first thing when we arrived before completing the check-in since I am in a wheelchair, they showed us the room to make sure it could meet my needs. The garden, the pool and the bar area are enchanting. As for accessibility, with a few adjustments the entire structure could reach a good level (it has all the potential to make a leap in quality and be able to address a wider user base) allowing everyone to access the reception and most of the rooms on the first floor, including the pool showers. The rooms are spacious and well-organized, with everything you need including a courtesy kit."
Cruccùris Resort - Adults Only ★★★★
"We had a beautiful Stay in Cruccuris Resort, we lacked nothing and there is nothing to complain about. Gladly again, when we next travel to South Sardegna. Thank you very much! Many Greetings Claudia Illing"
Almar Timi Ama Resort & Spa ★★★★★
"We would have expected more for a 5-star hotel. The floor around the pool bar always looked dirty due to old stains from the dates in the palm trees. For the price I paid, I would have expected at least the soft drinks in the room to be free, instead of charging a whopping 6 euros for them. The prices are far too high overall. A cocktail served in a martini glass cost 18 euros! Dinner buffet per person 65 euros WITHOUT drinks, far too much, at least soft drinks and maybe a table wine could have been included. Breakfast was the same every morning. We know from 4-star hotels that there is also, for example, a glass of prosecco for self-service - unfortunately not here. The evening program (music) was always too loud for the small area and the number of guests present. In the room we missed hooks to air out worn clothes, and a line or clothes rack for wet swimwear would have been nice on the balcony too. Even in our current 4-star hotel there is a small clothes rack on the balcony! Unfortunately we won't be coming back."
Hotel Il Girasole ★★★
"Our stay at Hotel il Girasole was fantastic. We are a family of 3 and loved every minute of it. Located in Villasimius in a very quiet neighborhood with ample parking if you travel with your rented car. Every evening we used to walk to the center for dinner, the walk is only 10mins or less. Villasimius is a nice quite town but lively and center has a few options for dinner without long drives after a day at the beach. The main beaches in the area are within 15 to 30mins drive away. Antonio managing the hotel is extremely helpful with information where to have dinner, help with deciding which beach is the best due to wind etc and any other help one might need. Hotel is spotless, extremely clean and staff very attentive to all the details. Breakfast was also very good and staff provide very good ham, cheese, eggs etc if one prefers those to pastries."
Xenia Hotel ★★★
"The hotel is located just a few steps from the central course of Villasimius, about half an hour walk from the beaches, but the hotel offers free bikes to move easily. It is modern, well furnished and with possibilities of parking nearby, and our room was beautifully wide, as well as the bathroom, with a small portion of garden where you enjoy the fresh night. Breakfast is more than abundant, both sweet and salty, there are food for all the palaces. Super recommended Something to improve ...the shower, although large, is not present a staircase or the right floor pendance, and this makes you to find a bathroom and room with so much water on the ground with all the precautions. I suggest a pull of water or a solution to solve the problem, because otherwise you risk dirting the room at the first shower and be dangerous."
Stella Maris ★★★★
"Super service throughout our stay. Serena and Marco on the front desk looked after us all week, endlessly patient and always helpful. The room was 10/10, great balcony, lovely views and good quality. The hotel has character and is also tasteful. The staff in the restaurant and bar were on the whole great; no complaints. The pool, grounds and beach, perfection. Thank you for a lovely week. We wil be back. Faith and Richard"
Cormoran Resort Villasimius ★★★★
"The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and spacious. Time has not left the hotel grounds untouched, but the green areas are well maintained and kept in good condition, and the restaurant areas also appear well cared for and impeccably clean. Kids are always welcome everywhere and meet only friendly eyes from the staff! With this attitude the Cormoran stands out, wlthough the kids club itself seemd a bit unorganized this year (we had been hear the the year before and had had a different experience with the kids club); but the staff of the kids club is extremely attentive and very nice to the kids! The staff always seem to be in a good mood and clearly strive to make their guests' experience as pleasant as possible and to help with any requests. The breakfast buffet is not particularly impressive, but the desserts on offer are very tasty, freshly made every day, and offer sufficient variety."
Hotel Sa Cralla ★★★
"Located practically in the center of Villasimius, the place is run by two very kind people who immediately made us feel at home. An experience worth repeating."

IH Hotels le Zagare Resort
"I had an unforgettable 3 week vacation! The property is fantastic and comfortable with every comfort you could wish for, including the excellent buffet, the beautiful private beach and shuttle transportation. The very kind and friendly as well as professional staff ensured we had a very pleasant stay. We spent evenings dancing to the music of the piano bar or simply enjoying the atmosphere with a drink in the company of new friends made at the hotel. All 4 of us had a dream vacation. Thank you Le Zagare staff, we will see you again in the future."
Lentischi Hotel - Adults Only
Hotel Su Giganti
"Lovely place to stay. Basic but really clean, beds comfy, shower really good, clean rooms, spotless swimming pool, grounds immaculate. Short walk to the beach. Parking is tight but handy. Staff are really wonderful, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is decent with lovely croissants and cake, I liked the cake. It’s quiet but that’s part of the attraction. I’d come again if I liked going to places again but I like going new places. Recommend this one though."
Le Bouganville Rooms Suites and Apartments
"Apt is basic and could be made much nicer with little bit more effort. Equipment within hotel basic too not even a kettle. Only a hob. Near to beach. Hotel has sunbeds charged at between €35 - €50 euros for 2. Staff friendly at hotel but hotel very quiet even though was supposedly full. Lacked atmosphere but then food and drink was so expensive for what it was I can understand why no one eat or drank there. Some days never saw another person at the pool. Staff looked bored as had nothing to do all day (when we were there) very quiet so we ventured out a lot and at night stayed in. TV but no English channels or Netflix app so not that option if has day out and wanted to stay in. Rooms cleaned twice in 7 days which was fine by us. Sea view but not a large balcony as in photos so slightly misleading having paid extra money for sea view and photos showing a large balcony with sun beds ( that was not the case) would not return if came back would try and find somewhere with more atmosphere too quiet for us - and we wanted relaxing but this was too quiet."
Residence S'Incantu
Falkensteiner Resort Capo Boi
"Would grade this hotel as a 4 star definitely not a 5 star as advertised. Rooms old and in need of a refurb. They felt damp and smelt damp too. The rooms didn’t feel clean particularly the floor. Explained the situation to reception who were nice and helpful and offered to inspect the room. Poor quality with kids food at the restaurant Kento. Freezer food was served up and charged 16euros for frozen chips and chicken. Lacking communication between staff in restaurants, no choice ice creams available during the kids half term holidays! Basic tomato pasta 10euros, same as what they serve at the buffet. Pizzas were great and would just stick to what you know. Can’t go wrong with fresh pizza. Fish heavy with dinner options, fine if you love fish but husband does not. Was told we could not use the indoor pool as it was too busy. Found out after we got the kids ready into swimwear and told we had to wait for 30 mins with a 2 year old and a 5 year old. Obviously impossible! This was rectified shortly after with the spa manager accommodating us in a pool that didn’t look full to us. Worth noting the outdoor pools are cold and not heated from what we felt, kids couldn’t swim in them only the indoor pool was up to standard for them. All in all wouldn’t return unfortunately. Just not up to standard and it appeared as quite a tired hotel in need of refurbishment. Kids enjoyed the entertainment though and the gardens are nice but if you are used to 5 star I would choice somewhere else. Or accept this is a 4 star hotel."
VOI Tanka Village
"The structure is very large and well equipped. It offers many services and all of good quality. As a strong point is the position, directly on the sea. And the sea is exceptional, among the most beautiful you can find. Warm sea, transparent and without algae or dirt. Unfortunately there are some negative things: the cleaning of the rooms was not perfect; the cost for a week in this village is very high and despite this, you have to pay for everything: all the services are paid for, from the beach umbrella and sunbeds (not even the tenth row was included in the stay) as well as the fitness area which had a cost of 5.00 euros for each use. Of course, the cafeteria and various drinks at the bar are also paid for (the soft inclusive drinks are not included). The food at the restaurant is of good quality but it is still a buffet service and not à la carte with the related consequences. The daytime entertainment is present but not invasive. the evening shows, on the other hand, were a pleasant surprise: many evenings there were performances by comedians and external actors (not entertainers) whose level of skill was high."
VOI Tanka Selected
"I suspect next year the price of this place will go up considerably. We were lucky to enjoy it as it was newly built. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Everybody at Selected was helpful and friendly. I cannot fault them. Less happy with the fact they accept pets and the two small dogs next door howled and cried for hours when their owners spent the afternoon at the beach or went out in the evening. I complained twice to main 'Village' reception without success. I gave up the third time it happened and then we were leaving. The main reception staff were not great. We arrived at 11pm at night after a flight was delayed and we drove for over an hour on the long, windy mountain road to the resort in the dark - quite stressful. By the time we got there our 11 month old was tired, grumpy and upset. We were left to find the apartment on our own, amongst several blocks of apartments, in almost complete darkness when they weren't numbered at all. The young lad on reception and his colleagues were disinterested and unhelpful. The gentlemen who rushed me on a buggy to order last minute pizzas were however, lovely. Selected staff were brilliant, obviously chosen as the best. Thanks to Alessandra amongst others and a special mention for 'Signor Aperol' at the pool bar who made the best Aperol Spritz we tasted throughout the entire trip."
