It’s very good hotel and it’s very convenient to live near the park and enjoy staying there

This was not my first choice hotel, I was moved at the very last minute due to hotel overbooking. Firstly, the hotel is large, crowded and quite noisy. This is expected as it's a family hotel at a theme park and kids make noise. I had booked an upgrade and this was honoured here. I'm sorry they did though because the enhanced rooms are tired and frayed at the edges and the published extras were not in the room. The room was quite large and comfortable but things were peeling at the edges. Breakfast was OK. You book a slot and you have 40 minutes. This is made really clear. The choice of food was quite good and staff were all efficient and friendly. We had a couple of meals and cold drinks at the bar. The staff here were again efficient and friendly. The food was fairly basic but decent. The pool was fairly well maintained and the staff were good. I saw a few people complain because they couldn't follow some basic rules (clearly posted and very reasonable) but the staff were always courteous and polite when requesting rules be followed. There was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel, it just wasn't for me. It is a good choice for families and those who don't mind crowds. It is officially 4 star. I think it's more a solid 3 star realistically and don't bother with the room upgrade, it isn't worth it.

Positives first… So handy to be a quick transfer away from Reus airport. Also great location with only a 5/10min walk into the park entrance. Great family room and bathroom- always clean during our four night stay. Really like the western theme and decor of the hotel- it has so much potential! And maybe during high season we would have experienced that more. Unfortunately the hotel seemed very low on staff. Long queues in reception and food often not warm at the restaurant. We were all inclusive. Head for the restaurant early to avoid queues morning & evening. Avoid the Steakhouse restaurant in the park for lunch - not hotel’s fault obviously. No lunch option at hotel was a pity. Best lunch option in park = La Cantina. Lots of positives and a few negatives - think it may be a different experience in the summer time!

Check-in was polite and well done. Room cards did not work. Had to rush back to the reception. It took 15 minutes to get it sorted while everyone waited outside the room. Water pressure in the shower is poor. Water leaks out of the shower area. The worst is the Wi-Fi the room - absolutely horrendous. Even mobile reception is very poor. I suspect it's because there aren't enough receivers or boosters installed in the property.
