A spontaneous trip to Hangzhou!

I stumbled upon Voco The Grand Hangzhou Wulin while browsing online. Seeing it's a brand new hotel, slated to open in April 2025, and part of the InterContinental group, I booked it without hesitation.

At check-in, Flaca was incredibly warm and courteous. She even upgraded my room, which was fantastic! She also arranged a late check-out for me. And even when some of my requests couldn't be fully met, she generously offered me drink vouchers. So thoughtful! 😘

The room was very spacious, and I felt it offered excellent value for money. There were welcome snacks and drinks, and the room was spotlessly clean. The highlight for me was how incredibly comfortable the bed was – I slept soundly straight through until morning! Highly recommended! 👍🏻

The facilities and equipment are well maintained and very cost-effective. On the first day of the May Day holiday, the number of tourists near the West Lake was so high that around 7 a.m., Lingxi Tunnel and Lingyin Road were already congested, and the number of passengers received on that day reached 504,700. The beauty of the West Lake is intoxicating. We can interpret and appreciate the West Lake from the scenery in front of us to the history and humanities. In fact, there is another angle to visit the West Lake: from the scenery in front of us to the ”scenery” in our ears. ”The world has great beauty but it does not speak”, whether it is seen or heard, it can allow us to discover the beauty of the West Lake.

Nice hotel with a beach. Excellent kitchen in the apartment, equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. Good refrigerator. Beds are a separate issue! Excellent mattresses, blankets and pillows! Beautiful dream. Number 602 faced the end of the building; a palm tree with the downtown and the Burj Khalifa behind it, and the sea were visible. Excellent terrace!!!

Definitely a good hotel!

Unbelievable stay here. Room was beautiful, comfy, spacious, facilities like the gym, infinity pool, breakfast buffet are all really great. Location to the town and boats to islands is great,
