My room was not cleaned. I found out in the afternoon and informed the hotel, but they did not tell me that the cleaner had gone off duty. I had to go to the front desk to ask for new towels. The service was zero.

The hotel facilities are average and clean. Disposable facilities such as slippers, combs, toothbrushes, etc. are not provided. There is no bottled water or kettle. It is wise to upgrade to a view room for an extra fee. The only bright spot is that the hotel is in an excellent location, facing the street view in the city center.

It's quite clean, and it's very convenient to walk on the beach. The sea view is also nice. But if you drive a large off-road vehicle, the hotel parking lot cannot park there, and you have to park in a public parking lot some distance from the hotel. Overall, it feels good.

I was originally assigned a room on the first floor, but it was not good enough. I later paid an extra $90 to get a suite on the fourth floor, which was not bad. The room I was originally assigned was not good enough.

The Inn at Laurel Point is perfectly situated for fabulous views of Victoria's harbor, and is only a short stroll along the waterfront walk to Fisherman's Wharf and downtown Victoria. I stayed in the Laurel Wing, which faces the inner harbor, a view which I found superior to that of the newer, more spacious Erickson Wing rooms. I booked a King room with water views and a Juliette balcony, and want to give a shout out to Jovel at the front desk who, when all of that night's guests seemed to arrive at once, made sure I was assigned the type of room I had reserved, and even remembered my name the next day. These personal touches make all the difference to a traveler. The restaurant and deck have those fabulous harbor views, and the staff provide excellent and friendly service.

Spacious and comfortable room, with a beautiful view over the harbor. Great location for walking to restaurants, Fishermen's Wharf, Parliament, Government Street. Walkable from both Black Ball ferry and Victoria Clipper. Excellent coffee in the lobby shop, as well as a good selection of grab-and-go lunch items.
