This is really the best hotel on the main island. We stayed here for shark diving. It's hard to describe the accommodation on the main island. It was a pleasant surprise to stay here. The hotel is very private and very suitable for bringing children. There is a babysitting service, a beach, and you can watch the sunrise. And you won't feel that there are too many people. Service: Good. I will introduce it to you after checking in. Restaurant: The taste is very good. The price of dinner is a bit high. We spent 310FJD for two people. I didn't order wine because of allergies. Activities: The hotel has a lot of activities, including yoga, paddle boarding, coral planting, etc. The Fiji Night at night is also very special. Spa: I had a spa, but the spa is not on the beach, which is a small disadvantage.

The resort is by far the best I have ever been (and I have traveled a lot) , it’s luxury with elegance and discretion. Our two bedroom villa was fantastic and the quality of service was top notch

A five-star resort on many top resorts in Fiji list should be a dream vacation, but our stay was anything but. The beautiful surroundings and dedicated staff who cared for the children were the only bright spots in an otherwise disappointing and frustrating experience. This resort is a prime example of a beautiful facade with no substance. The service was incredibly slow and poor. Simple requests, like asking for plates and utensils, were ignored multiple times until we finally went and got them ourselves. The food, which is the only option given the resort's remote location, was a major letdown. Every meal was an ordeal. Dinner was served cold and tasteless after waiting more than 45 minutes, and even the cocktails, while decent, took forever to arrive. The breakfast situation was no better; by 8 a.m., the few options available were gone. Room service was a complete disaster, taking over 1.5 hours to arrive with soggy and cold food. For a five-star hotel, the beds were creaky, and the bathroom was noticeably dirty with a slow-draining tub and shower. Beyond the unkempt state of the room, the resort’s isolation means there are no other dining or entertainment options nearby. When the weather turned, there was absolutely nothing to do. The kids' center was a major disappointment for our little ones. Despite the caring staff, the space was tiny and completely exposed to the elements. The kids were brought back to the room when it rained, and it was clear they had no indoor activities to occupy them. The only time the children had fun was when the weather was nice and the staff took them to the beach to find crabs and starfish. Overall, I would not recommend this resort. The two-hour journey to get there is not worth the frustration and poor quality of the service, food, and accommodations. It's truly a shame that a place with such potential and a prestigious reputation could fail so spectacularly on the basics.

From the moment we arrived at Nanuku, we knew we were in for something special. Greeted with fresh coconuts, flowers in our hair, and a traditional warrior drum ceremony, the warm welcome set the tone for a truly unforgettable stay. We stayed in a garden villa with our own private pool—complete with “Bula Von Haartman Family” spelled out in rocks at the bottom! Inside, we found birthday messages crafted from leaves, a welcome bottle of champagne on ice, cookies, fruit, and bikes personalized for each family member. The villa had a walk-in closet, large tub, indoor and outdoor showers (yes—four showers total!), and plenty of space for a family. Kids Club: This is, hands-down, the best kids’ club I’ve ever experienced. Children 6–12 get a dedicated buddy, and younger kids receive their own private nanny. Our buddy joined the kids for beach play, meals, and nighttime adventures like frog catching and crab hunts. They made tie-dye shirts, swords engraved with their names, and even had a drink named after one of them! I was even invited to participate in the torch-lighting ceremony—apparently the first adult to do so. Thanks to the buddy program, I was able to sneak away guilt-free for a thrilling shark dive—something I couldn’t have done otherwise as a solo parent. Dining & Drinks: We didn’t do the meal plan, but breakfast was included. Dinner menus changed nightly with additional all-day offerings and a kids’ menu. Cocktails and mocktails were fresh, fun, and beautifully presented—lots of tropical flavors and options for vodka and gin lovers like me. Final Thoughts: Nanuku blends luxury with heart. It’s perfect for honeymoons, romantic escapes, and especially families. The warmth of the staff, the attention to detail, and the authentic Fijian experiences made this one of the best trips of our lives. Can’t wait to return.

A wonderful resort. The Nanuku team work so hard to make you feel welcome and at home, the long curve of beach is stunning as is the marine life and water sport offering. Being a little distant from Nadi provides a lot more benefits than disadvantages. The resort design is homely & welcoming, almost like a village with just 37 rooms- you really feel the difference when you check into an alternative larger resort in Fiji, all that personal touch and charm is lost. I stayed at 4 different resorts in Fiji and this was the very best by a mile! Special thanks to Ravuama & Louise and the whole team for a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

If you want the best experience possible in Fiji then stay at this resort. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by warriors and treated like a family member. The villas are gorgeous and spacious. The food is top notch. The service is unparalleled. The spa is heaven! So many different massages, so little time- I wish I could have gone back again! And the best part for me was the excursions available from their perfect location. Their guides will take you to the best places and keep you safe. I had the best adventures which I will never forget. Loved this resort! I highly recommend it.

While the resort and our garden villa was lovely the experience was tainted by the cold food and long waits for service. Out of 5 days worth of food service, we only had 2 breakfast dishes served hot. All our lunches were cold and we sent back many items. The dinners were equally cold or over cooked. We had to ask at least 3 times to get salt and pepper. Then the shakers would be empty. Our drink orders were often delivered after we received our mains. And the mains would take 20-30 minutes…and then were cold. We at almost every service we had to ask where our drinks were. Super disappointing. The running joke going to a meal was on how cold it would be. Even after asking at every order to please make sure it was hot. The servers and other staff were very pleasant. So not sure if this is a kitchen issue or staff on Island time.
