This Hotel/Guest house is only ok. The dinner is sensational and you expect the rest of the hotel to match the dinner but I don’t feel it does. The rooms are basic with very bad mattress & pillows , the shower turns hot and cold constantly. The wifi is terrible and not good for business which is what we use it for. Breakfast is not bad for the price . Staff are lovely & a credit to the dinner chef as my veal was amazing. If they got new mattress, improved the wifi & shower it would be a lovely business stay.

Overpriced and poor service
Overpriced for poor service. Very limited overpriced menu, small breakfast dishes, and dinner menus were limited with few good choices, unless you like fancy small unfamiliar food.
No coffee at the room, very noisy at the room, could hear snoring at the next room, no elevator and for a price that didn’t fit the expectations.

We choose the chef’s menu 4 course meal and the food was nice and well prepared, nevertheless it was the same menu as the 3 course menu added with a fish course in between. We chose also the 4 wines arrangement but the selection given didn’t match the courses specifically for the starters and the fish. The staff was not very attentive, leaving empty glasses on the table and bringing immediately the new wine once we finish the previous one instead of bringing the wine when the correspondent course would get to the table. For 100.00 euros per person there is a lot for improvement.

fantastische plek en zeer behulpzaam en gastvrije bediening. 's Morgens bij ontbijt werd er al gevraagd of je ook diner wilde gebruiken en of er dan ook alvast een tafel gereserveerd moest worden. Toch leuk dat meedenken! Bediening bij diner wist veel van de gerechten en de wijnen. Ik vond het heerlijk om daar 3 nachten (14/17 aug 25) te hebben geslapen en gegeten. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Dank!

Havezathe Carpe Diem bevindt zich op een prachtige rustige plek in de Achterhoek. Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk. De hotelkamers zijn goed en schoon. Aan het culinaire verrassingsmenu is bijzonder veel aandacht besteed. Het smaakte uitstekend. Het ontbijt (keuze uit drie soorten) was eveneens prima.

Wat een prachtige plek is Havezathe Carpe Diem! Midden in het groen, omringd door rust en natuurschoon. We hebben er één nachtje mogen verblijven en dat was puur genieten. Onze kamer zat in de nok van de Havezathe en dat voelde heel erg sfeervol. Heerlijk geslapen in fijne bedden en ’s ochtends wachtte er een lekker ontbijtje, zelfs toen we iets verlaat waren. Wat het verblijf extra aangenaam maakte, was het vriendelijke en gastvrije personeel. Kortom: een ideale plek om even te ontsnappen aan de drukte en op te laden in een prachtige, rustgevende omgeving. Ik kom graag nog eens terug!

Freundliches, aufmeksames und sehr entspanntes Personal. Einfacher Check In ohne Papierkram.
Kleine, aber hervorragende Karte zum Abendessen. Nettes Frühstück und insgesamt ein sehr fairer Preis.

We hadden een vrienden bijeenkomst met een fixed 4 gangen diner. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het eten is echter een beetje simpel. Smaken complementeren elkaar niet echt en erg vlak. Uiteindelijk krijg je een pretentieus hoofdgerecht met een bak sla en friet erbij. Een nagerecht zonder uitschieters maar erg vlak qua smaak. Helaas niet de eerste keer dat we een mindere ervaring hadden.
