The hostel is clean and has everything you need: a laundry room, a kitchen, and a cafeteria where you can buy yourself breakfast in the morning.
You have to take off your shoes to get in.

One of the few youth hostels in Lofoten, each with its own room, but with a shared bathroom. The design inside is great. The public area, kitchen, and restaurant all have their own space, making it very comfortable to live in. The rooms and bathrooms are also super clean and have heating. The price is also cheap.
The room is fully glass, the view is super good and beautiful
There are also many activities available for guests to order. The sauna is highly recommended. There is also a lake at the back. There is no light pollution here, and if you are lucky, you can take pictures of the aurora.
In the summer, meals are provided at your own expense, and there is also a cafe on the first floor.
The location is right on the E10 road. If you rent a car, it is highly recommended to stay here for a night.

I cannot even begin to describe how phenomenal Furu is. The hostel itself is extremely homey inside and gorgeously beautiful outside. It is clean, cozy, and welcoming. The rooms are private and well-kept. I love that they have local goods for sale, but also a spot for travelers to leave/sell things, as well. Also - the community spaces are so lovely and have board games / knitting! Outside, there is no shortage of things to do - a sun deck, kayaks, a beautiful lake, swings, a mini obstacle course, a slack line, a fire pit (indoor and outdoor), and a sauna. I'm missing stuff, too. The food at the front is AMAZING! I had one of my favorite meals of all time at Furu for dinner. For breakfast, the hot chocolate is a MUST. The breakfast platter is extremely yummy and will keep you full for hours - the perfect pre-hike meal! Thank you to the wonderful staff for making the experience so wonderful! I will hopefully be back one day :)

Felt immediately at home. Welcoming staff. Beautiful lakeside with lots of space to relax. Sauna a bonus. Decor was calming and restful after long days hiking.

My stay at the FURU Hostel was just great! The place is very cosy, the café/restaurant serves really good and tasty food, the location is nice close to a lake that you can swim in, and the rooms and facilities are practical and super clean. The team at the hostel was also very friendly and helpful! Definitely a place I recommend to spend time at during your trip to Lofoten islands.

Das Hostel war tiptop, die Dorms und die Toiletten sauber und die Backwaren im Café super lecker. Zudem gibt es eine Waschmaschine, einen Trockner, einen Trockenraum (perfekt für nasse Zelter) und eine Art Wohnzimmer mit vielen Gesellschaftsspielen. Danke an das ganze Team:)

I Had an amazing stay there. The Bathroom was very clean. Also the guest-kitchen was very well equipped. And a lot of Glutenfree options in the Café. So yeah, it be like that 🤷🏻♀️
