First time…but not the last. Everything was great…the room, service and the food. Gerni was absolutely amazing. Stumbled around a bit figuring out the saunas and steam rooms but enjoyed the experience. The outdoor pool was wonderful. Will be back. The road in was a challenge. Thanks for GPS.

Service was okay, for such a well respected establishment I was shocked that housekeeping hadn’t touched our room by 4 pm Quite a few amenities out of operation, room is outdated with a broken mini fridge. Won’t be coming back or recommending.

I've been going to Sparkling Hill annually since 2018. I love the pool, saunas, and spa. I've been with my spouse, friends, and family over the years. My last trip there was Jan 31 - Feb 02 2025 with a friend, as a Christmas gift. The food at Peak Fine has gone downhill and the breakfasts are awful. I used to love their healthy options, now it is deep-fried disgusting. The food is a major deterrent and I am not sure I'll be booking there again. The dinner at Peak Fine was also lack luster. Nothing that couldn't be found at a local chain restaurant. We had our remaining dinners at Block One - 50th Parallel Estate Winery - highly recommend! The most disappointing part of our stay was the day we were leaving, our flight out of Kelowna was delayed (then cancelled) due to weather - to no fault of the hotel, of course! We were not able to get a late check out. We were able to book spa treatments (and spend anther $400+) but I was told by spa staff to leave the tea room in the spa area while waiting for my friend to finish her massage, as we were "no longer guests." It was embaressing to be treated that way. We sat in the fireside lounge for a few hours and also enjoyed lunch at the coffee bar, trying to rebook our travel plans. The lobby bathrooms were closed for cleaning and we asked to use the restrooms in the spa area. The spa staff initally refused us let us, they eventually allow us after verifying the lobby restrooms were closed. What could have, and should have, been a relaxing weekend away was really tanished by the customer service once we were 'no longer guests' of the hotel. The staff were happy to have us continue to spend money at their hotel and treated us as though we were tresspassing when we requested to use a restroom. Do better.

January 2025 We are so fortunate to have a resort of this calibre in our midst, so close to Vernon. I had the pleasure of staying for the week following their annual maintenance closure with a group of friends. The new “chef James inspired” dream menu is just that. I was especially impressed with the emphasis on seafood. From the deliciously prepared and delightful presentation of the “seafood tower” (complete with crab legs, oysters on the shell, jumbo prawns, tuna tataki) to the tender and perfectly seasoned calamari, cedar plank steelhead trout, and variations of Ahi tuna all were delightfully delicious. I am always impressed with the many variations they create with mushrooms. Of course, all of the other menu options and amazing desserts were so appreciated.. It is such a joy to see the familiar faces of the breakfast staff… Brandi, Melanie, Charlotte, Becks. The new morning dining room manager Matthew was a breath of fresh air and helpful in so many ways. The front desk staff.. especially Meena, Katelyn, and Raj were consistently welcoming, patient and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed time in the KURSPA and found Jackie (spa manager) and Jacqueline (receptionist) kind and helpful in recommending treatments and suggesting ways to maximize the facility. The “lavender fields scrub” was a real treat. Some of the other women especially enjoyed their facials and the “ glacial clay wrap”. The guest services manager, Rich Singh made our stay so enjoyable with his attention to every detail. The smartly dressed and very pleasant assistant general manager, Craig Pingle is a real asset to the management team. The CEO, Hans-Peter Mayr’s , presence was felt throughout the resort. His warm and informative welcome to our group was so appreciated . We all look forward to returning.

We enjoyed our 30th anniversary here! Four nights of relaxation and peace. We love the saunas and the pools. Breakfast was good, with some gluten-free options We enjoyed Gerni's farmhouse for dinner. They do gluten free schnitzel! The Java place also had gluten free desserts. All staff were courteous and helpful.

Can’t believe this gem (literally) is so close to home. We did the couples package so it was a real treat to enjoy 3 course meals and get spa treatments. But it’s also lovely to float in the heated outdoor pool, use the steam and saunas, and look out at the glorious views.
