Staybridge Suites Toronto - Vaughan South

We needed a place to stay for our family vacation in Vaughn and Staybridge was perfect! Had a really great experience. We booked the 1 bedroom Suite that included a kitchen and had the sofa bed for our son. Staff was super accommodating especially our housekeeper Jane. She made sure to check in on us to see if there was anything we needed. They also service breakfast daily which was an added bonus for me. My only issue was that the water pressure was extremely low. I’m sure there was a reason for it, outside of that, I would highly recommend staying here if you need a place to stay in Toronto.

First the good. The hotel was very convenient and has free parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby was quite comfortable and had ample room to lounge and a separate tv room for guests. They offered free popcorn some nights we were there and had a large breakfast area. The rooms are large with a decent sized kitchen and plenty of eating space. The bedroom is separate from the living space however whoever you’re staying with will have to come into the bedroom to use the bathroom. So there’s that privacy issue. We stayed four nights but never had breakfast so I can’t speak to how the food was. There’s a small market for snacks if you need them. The not so good is it’s on a very busy street so getting in and out can be a hassle. The room rate changed on us during our stay. We originally booked three nights and when we wanted to extend it another night it was significantly more. We had this issue at another Toronto hotel as well. I guess it’s just how business is done but still a shock and kind of disappointing. Also, I guess because of the type of hotel it is there seem to be people, families who stay there long term. It wasn’t uncommon to see people wandering in the parking lot in their pjs or kids running in the stairwells playing. It wasn’t really an issue but just something to keep in mind if you wanted a hotel that was geared towards adults only type of environment. Other than the cost and traffic it was a good stay. Nice clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly.

The breakfast buffet was great, the area clean and the staff (Blessie and Kim) were efficient, cheerful and helpful. The rooms were clean and well laid out. I would stay here again the next time Im in the area for business.

Sandeep crish Kim helped me and my daughters with working the waffle maker and even offered to pour the batter for us :) such a caring and kind soul our room was perfectly clean and the bed was so comfortable to sleep in! The breakfast open from 7:30am to 10:30am tastes very good too!
