"Such a lovely place to stay. You will need a small car to go through the narrow gate into the old town of Mazan but Eric and Agnes will make sure you have a place to park. They are superb hosts who really look after their guests and pay attention to all the details. We loved our large room off the Library and played snooker/pool in the evenings. We adored the relaxing garden with a gloriously warm swimming pool. I was straight in to that within an hour of arrival and we used it every day of our May stay. Dinner was cooked by Eric on our first day and was delicious, as was the breakfast served by Agnes. Try Eric's special spiced scrambled eggs. All items were seasonal and local and we loved the way it was varied each morning. The other nights we ate in the town, booked by Agnes and Eric on their recommendations. You will not see many tourists here and it is on the edge of such a great wine area. A base for Gordes, the "Lavender route", Mt Ventoux, the wines of the Vaucluse and the edges of the Luberon. Perfect for walkers, cyclists and anyone else who loves La Belle France. Ask Agnes to tell you the story of the house and garden. Merci beaucoup, Agnes et Eric from Una and David."

"Can't speak highly enough of LeTemps Suspendu. Michael and Sonia were so welcoming ( despite us turning up two hours before check in) Our room was beautiful with all the facilities needed, including a whirlpool bath. Michael and Sonia checked in with us on the morning of our arrival and sent post code. Parking was literally thirty feet from the door in a convenient car park. Hotel is situated down a little alleyway but once in is stunning. With exposed stone work and lots of original features. They also provided us with lists of local beauty spots and places of interest to visit and were happy to help us in booking restaurants as our French was almost non existent. Sonia provided excellent breakfast with home made pastries and waffles as well as fresh local products... Lovely outdoor seating areas for meals. Pool was wonderful and certainly needed due to high temperature and most of the time we were the only ones using it. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return ❤️"

"This is a lovely hotel. The views are amazing looking out to Mont Ventoux. We had a room with a terrace (12). Our room was nice and secluded away from the main house, which was lovely. The terrace had sun loungers and a dining table. Rooms were clean, very large, with a massive bathroom (shower only). The pool area is lovely, equipped with sun loungers and honesty bars with drinks and ice cream. Good continental breakfast provided on the main house terrace. Bedoin is a short drive and has a variety of restaurants for dinner and a good market on a Monday morning. The hotel does not have a restaurant so you will need to go out for evening dinner. In general the hotel is lovely and quiet. Although you will have to look after yourself in the main, as it is run like you are at home, not a huge amount of service offered for the price point."

Our room was spacious and had a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was delightful and set us up for the the rest of the day. It was good to have secure parking and to be enclosed in such beautiful surroundings - they obviously spend a lot of time tending the garden."

"PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING THIS PROPERTY I stayed at this property for two nights and, unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. First, I was given a room of a lower category than the one I had booked. To make matters worse, the room had a strong unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, which made it uncomfortable to stay there. To my surprise, the room had a waterbed — something I was never informed about when booking. Sleeping on it caused severe back pain, and I eventually had to get up in the middle of the night and sleep on the floor, as it was impossible to rest properly. The view from the window was also completely different from what I booked: instead of the promised view, I had a wall right outside the window. Another important thing to note: this is not actually a hotel. It is more like an Airbnb-style family-run guesthouse, where a family owns two houses and rents out rooms. The level of service is not what you would expect from a hotel, which was very disappointing. While the family running the place is polite and friendly, any issues related to payments or disputes are handled very poorly. After we decided to leave earlier due to these problems, they refused to refund us for the three unused nights — almost €1,000 — and ignored all our follow-up emails and their responds on our calls were very rude. Later, I discovered that they resold my room for those nights, effectively charging two different guests for the same booking, which feels deeply unfair. There is also no formal reception and breakfast, and the property is located behind high gates on a very narrow street, making access inconvenient. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has so many positive reviews. While the owners are polite, the service, transparency, and fairness are far below hotel standards. Recommendation: If you decide to stay here, do not book for more than one night upfront. First, check the room, the bed type, the view, and the facilities before committing to a longer stay. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property."

"First, the pros: The hotel's facilities are quite good. The overall decor leans towards a French country style. The cleanliness is high, the rooms are large, and the estate itself is spacious enough for a stroll. The shower water pressure is strong, and most basic bathing facilities are very clean. It's conveniently located by car from the surrounding towns, making it suitable for those with a vehicle. We bought some wine from the hotel and so far, and it's quite good. The cons: The hotel only has one restaurant for dinner. If you have a car, you can eat in the surrounding towns. We ate dinner there, but the menu selection was limited. We ordered the chef's choice steak, medium-rare, but it was more well-done than medium-well; some parts were like jerky. Before ordering, we asked for complimentary tap water, but when we checked the bill, they charged us €10 for two bottles. When we asked what it was for, the waitress said it was water we ordered. We said it was complimentary, and she immediately went to reprint the bill. This action significantly reduced our trust in the hotel. For those inexperienced in European travel, was the waitress trying to rip off as many people as possible? Pay close attention to the bill when dining out. Also, there are still a lot of mosquitoes at the end of September, so it's basically impossible to open doors and windows. We got bitten several times on our first night. The hotel offers mosquito coils, and the staff will also suggest buying mosquito repellent spray from the hotel shop."

"The room smelled terrible, probably due to a previous water leak. The parking was advertised as free on the website but cost €5. The staff member refused to acknowledge this and I had to pay the €5. Access to the spa/pool is €12 for 1.5 hours, even though the spa was out of order. It's the same price just for the pool, which isn't very customer-friendly. Breakfast is overpriced for what you get. Honestly, this hotel is comparable to a budget Formule 1."

"Terrific! We became very! We were warmly welcomed at reception, but previously we couldn't reach it because the access road to the hotel was blocked and our sat nav couldn't find a way. After calling the hotel, an employee came running from there! and opened the barrier and walked us alongside our car to the hotel. Then he accompanied my husband to the parking lot, as it was complicated to get to the reserved parking space in a large hall because of a church event with a high-ranking dignitary, for which the police had closed everything. This was a unique event in Orange, but the hotel helped us a lot with the car. Our junior suite was very large with a large, comfortable bed. The bathroom was the largest we had in 6 weeks of vacation in France, everything was perfectly equipped, classic style, but with very nice tiles. The shower was very large and nothing got wet outside and the tile floor in the shower was not smooth but very secure (much ! better than most other hotels). Showering there was a pleasure! Everything was nicely furnished, NOT “loveless” as written in another guest review, that’s not true. The heating worked well (November) and you could sleep with the window open, it was so quiet. We didn't have breakfast there, so no opinion on that. Location perfect in the center. A wonderful stay, absolutely recommended, thank you very much to the hotel and its staff!!"

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the Papal Palace! However, the facilities are on par with a budget motel, definitely not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel; it barely scrapes by as a 3-star. Perhaps because it's an old building, the hallways are incredibly narrow and dim. The room was tiny, with no trash can except for a miniature one in the bathroom. There wasn't even a proper desk, just a small 40cm ledge. No gym or pool. The floorboards creaked loudly with every step, making me worried about disturbing the neighbors. There's central air conditioning, but no matter what temperature you set it to, the air coming out was the same as outside. No complimentary bottled water. The most frustrating thing was that the housekeeping staff would always mess up my toiletries, and one time my razor was even disassembled—I suspect the cleaner might have used it themselves 🤢"
