The hotel is like an ancient city pot. The rooms are not big but very warm. The surrounding area is quite prosperous, with everything from dining to shopping. Not far from the train station, just over 10 minutes walk. It snowed last week and there is an ice skating rink at the door. It's free.

We were there for one night only but were so happy with the accommodations. Anders was very helpful with directing us to a walk along the River to the harbor. It was a lovely evening. Our room was a bit warm for us (Americans lol) and while we were out enjoying the town he made worked hard to get the system working and it was nice and cool for us. The cathedral next to the hotel is a must see:)

A great hotel!! The beds are like heaven you sink down like on a cloud. Very good layout of the room. Friendly people!! Old wonderful building. I’ll stay here again if I come to Västerås (instead of the steam hotel😊)
