"Terrible! I left the rental house where I spent the holidays with my mother and my newborn daughter to spend the last 3 days of August in a hotel. I paid for the junior suite with a non-refundable rate days before and when we checked in we found it smelling of cigarette smoke. We were promised a solution but they simply aired the room for a couple of hours, with little improvement. Imagine the inconvenience of finding another place and moving all the luggage with a newborn! To this day I am still waiting for the refund of what I paid because they said it could not be issued at the time…"

"We stayed at the Hotel Le Roi for 1 night while on vacation in Italy (from Canada) and overall had a wonderful and comfortable experience. Facilities and rooms were both clean and very comfortable, lovely relaxing balcony too. Staff was very pleasant and helpful (despite us not speaking Italian). Ample parking space for the car we had brought. Exceptional dining experience at family run on location restaurant. 5min walk and 3 min drive to beach. "

"We just spent the night of San Silvestre in this hotel, which we already knew for cleaning friendlyness and hospitality. I was positively hit by the dinner, whose dishes were very careful and balanced, and the evening was alied by live music and the possibility of dancing. "Nice hotel, a stone's throw from the station, five minutes from the centre. The underpass to reach the center and the beach is comfortable, lit day and night, there are always people passing by so there is no danger. Upon exiting, there is immediately the center and the shops. The hotel is clean, the welcome is very good. Our room was very very nice, well furnished, everything new. A very comfortable bed, fabulous walk-in closet, very beautiful blackout curtains, new bathroom with a beautiful spacious and pleasant shower. Only two things I didn't like: one was the lack of a balcony, so we couldn't wait to dry our costumes, and a really sad view of the adjacent houses. The other thing was the poor soundproofing of the rooms, and the doors make noise when they close, and unfortunately we found very rude neighbors in the room, who shouted and slammed the doors both late at night and early in the morning. All the cleaning staff were also very friendly. The swimming pool is also nice and pleasant, never crowded."

"It's a nice and welcoming hotel, not too far from the city centre, but distant enough to be in a quiet area. The rooms are clean, fairly nice and cosy, but they are not very modern. The quality of the bedsheets is not the best, definitely can be improved. A big issues for me is that the rooms' doors are fire doors which close by themselves, so in the morning when the other guests go downstairs for breakfast it can be very noisy with all the slamming doors. A part from that in the evening is very quiet. The breakfast buffet is very generous, there are a lot of options and is quite tasty. The hotel is managed by the owner and his family, which are all very helpful and friendly. The hotel offers a few discounts for some restaurants and lido in town. Parking is a bit tricky, they have a few available spots, but then you won't be able to take the car everyday, so the best solution is to park on the road which can be difficult because there are not many parking spots available. If they update a bit the rooms and fix the problem with the slamming door I would be happy to come back. The price is fair considering location and quality of room and services. "
