Iberostar Origin Taínos

The worst hotel I have ever stayed. Terrible and awful experience. Please, don’t stay at Iberostar Origin Tainos. The food was terrible and disgusting. The raw pork and fish were exposed and not proper refrigerated at the restaurant. The rest of the food was saltless, flavorless and old. We’ve got to go to the city twice to get a decent food. The main building is completely ruined and abandoned. The elevator worked only during our last day there. The corridors are completely destroyed and the walls are all peeling. The floor got completely flooded with the rain water, and, as well as the elevator wasn’t working, we had to take the wet stairs — an enormous risk. Most of the staff are rude and disrespectful. I got disrespected twice during my stay at the hotel, one at the restaurant, by the pork cooker, and the other by the barwoman at the pool bar. The cocktails are as disgusting as the food. The cups are dirty and not well washed — I’ve seen the waiter “washing” it with his own hands and without any soap or product. What a supposed to be a relaxing time became a stressing time. This situation can’t be justified on the country’s political and economic phase, since there are a lot of great hotels and restaurants all over Cuba. Iberostar Tainos is just badly managed and organized.

We are on our honeymoon, we have enjoyed ourselves so much, 3 night in Havana and 11 nights iberostar tainos, it's not as big as other resorts, but that's the appeal, it's small enough to care 😀 😉 😊, the beach is amazing,i mean amazing, staff great 👍. Overall we will be coming back, we loved it here

Lovely hotel on a beautiful stretch of beach, with clear water. Beautiful gardens. Friendly staff. Nice cocktails. Large comfortable rooms with terrace.
