There were night market just outside the guest house so location was good. After hard hiking my leg was tired so I like their location, easy to reach the market. A bed, and towel is kind of old and hard otherwise I like the room. Breakfast is good.

When we arrived, they didn’t have the family room we booked. They split us up into two single rooms. They didn’t have the breakfast we’d paid for. So they reimbursed us about $2. There was heavy duty construction happening on many of the rooms after 8am. Room had many ants, no shampoo, stain on bed. Service wasn’t great. Location however, was good.

Overall, it was a good stay! Location is perfect as it's the night market in front of the guest house. The air conditioning does not work well and still warm even at 16 degrees. The breakfast options were very basic (bread, an egg, coffee, some fruits, etc.) I stayed at another guest house in the area and the breakfast options (buffet) was amazing!

Relatively unfriendly reception, it took them a whopping 25 minutes to check in on two customers. Because the three of you at reception didn't know how to enter the booking number and pin, which I found very unprofessional. I had paid for 2 nights for viraus, and after viewing the room I asked very politely whether I would get a small refund for the second night, as I would only stay for one. These three amateur boys shook our heads straight away. The television was just flickering on every channel. At first they said we hadn't booked a room because everything was full. We didn't see any other people that evening, but the next day when the staff and cleaning team had cleaned the rooms, without luggage, there were perhaps people leaving quickly. These rooms all had windows and were larger than ours. Because I didn't book the cheapest one. For the equivalent of 30 sfr. It was by far not only the worst in all of Laos, but also in terms of my last 8 years of traveling around the world. If I were to recommend something like that to someone, I would not only be lying to the whole world, but also to myself.
