"Our holiday was just perfect. It was our first holiday in over 25 years without our children and other surpassed all expectations. From check in, it was obvious that the Aloe is special. We were greeted by an excellent member of reception staff with a slight American accent - sorry, I didn't catch her name. But she was so friendly and happy to help. Harry was also brilliant and Simon who speedily took our cases to our rooms after we'd drunk our arrival prosecco. The hotel has a prime position across the road from the sea and surrounded by a few great tavernas. Our room was well equipped and comfortable. The only improvement would be to improve the larger towels. Some days they were large sbd fluffy and other days they were thin and tiny. Breakfast was great and tables cleared quickly.. Lots to choose from. A 2nd coffee machine would be a good idea as there was often a queue. The staff though are what makes this hotel. All were friendly and chatty. Kleo, Asterios, Jeanne, Fabian and Abbey in the restaurant were all so lovely. Angelina behind the bar who makes fantastic cocktails. All were just great. They all work so hard - sorry if I left anyone out. Plus the little touches... we asked for 2 extra chairs on our balcony so we could enjoy a glass of wine before going out for dinner. They appeared within minutes. To the wine glasses provided amd even a bottle of prosecvo for my birthday and a strawberry tart complete with candle and Bucks fizz for breakfast on my birthday too. We will be back one day I'm sure. Meanwhile, I will recommend your hotel to my customers looking at Crete in the travel business I own."

"My wife and I were recommended by friends to try the restaurant and the cocktails so we booked a room and stayed the night. The rooms are huge and are more like an apartment than a normal hotel room. Bedroom with a kingsize double, large living room, kitchenette and a bathroom / shower. You dine outside under a vine covered pergola with a spectacular view over Souda Bay. There’s an outside bar there too that serves great cocktails. The choice is endless as is the soft romantic music. There’s a choice of over 95,000 songs and Manolis, your charming host, takes requests. 😎 And now to the food. The stuffed mushrooms are exquisite and the fava one of the best, as is the mousaka. I had the lemon chicken with thinly sliced fried potatoes and feta cheese. Superb. Excellent house wine too so pluses all round. Manolis and Emerald are great hosts, are multi lingual and know how to make their guests feel at home. Definitely recommended…"

"Almyrida residence is a beautiful hotel! Me and my sister stayed here for a week. We were lucky to get an upgrade of our room. Tonya helped us with a big smile and lots of love! We had a great stay. The service, especially with Theo and Tonya as the enthusiastic angels they are! The cleaning was perfectly everyday and the cleaning-staff always had a smile on their faces.The food at the rooftop is amazing and so is the people working there! The sunbeds and the pools are comfortable(both outside and inside). I can highly recommend this hotel! We will come back!"

"A very welcome stay at Elena. The rooms are very clean and the pillows are amazing. We stayed with our 7 month old baby and everything was provided. They even gave us a plaite for him to play on. Kitchen is fully equiped. Cleaning sevice is very kind and helpfull. The accommodation is newly renovated and directly on the beach. Will definitely come back again."

Niriides Hotel Apts Studios

"Stayed here for a week earlier this month. Nektarios greeted us warmly when we arrived and escorted us to our room. There was a welcome hamper with a bottle of wine, raki, water, teabags, sugar and coffee - a very nice touch. Large twin room overlooking the mountain - very peaceful sitting on the balcony having a cuppa in the early mornings. There was washing lines and pegs on there too. The bed was the comfiest we have had anywhere in Greece - soft pillows too. The kitchenette had a fridge (with freezer compartment) and all the things needed for a holiday. (no toaster though). Washing up liquid and a teatowel was also supplied. There were plenty of plug sockets dotted around the room. The bathroom had a small shower but the water was hot and plentiful. There was a really powerful hairdryer and an iron in the room. Also had a TV and a safe. The pool was large, clean and warm. The beach bar wasn't open when we stayed. Zoe always had a friendly greeting each morning and kept our room ultra clean, changing the towels each day. The hotel was handy for the bakery across the road and near all the restaurants, bars and the beaches. All in all we had an excellent stay at the Niriides and would highly recommend. Hope to be back some day."
