Sally Port Suites

We stayed in apartment number 193 which is an entirely self-contained 1 bedroom flat, with a walk-in shower. It was clean, and towels/sheets were changed for us half-way through a 6 night stay. Alfredo, the host, was super-helpful - arranging pick up from the airport, texting us restaurant recommendations (spot on - try Trabuxu) and where to shop for food. We were even offered a free coffee in the bagel shop next door! The apartments are centrally-located, but on a quiet street so we were not disturbed by noise. The air conditioning is very effective. The kitchen has everything to prepare a light snack - you could probably cook a full meal if you wanted to, but why would you with all of Valletta on your doorstep. Plug sockets are UK sockets - convenient! There is good wifi, and a large dining table which is great if you need to get some work done. This particular apartment is accessed via some steep steps - in case that is a concern. We would absolutely stay again. Highly professional and good value.

The apartment was central and was easy to walk to all things to do. Room 5 was good size, with balcony , good size bed and good shower. The roof top terrace has fantastic views and comfortable for an evening drink.

Great find and in a great location we stayed in number 193 which has all you need for self catering, supermarkets close by great communication from Alfredo prior, during and after our booking cannot fault The bagel hole next door worth a visit as is the very friendly restaurant, bar Asti just around the corner highy recommend all

Fantastic apartment and host! The apartment was clean and had a little kitchenette which was really helpful. The roof terrace is a beautiful communal area that we enjoyed using most evenings and the bed in the apartment was really comfortable. The plugs are actually UK plugs with EU adapters in them which was helpful for my stay. Alfredo was so helpful as well we went during a public holiday in Malta so wanted to find a shop that was the open I messaged Alfredo who came back to me with a Google maps link of an open shop. I will absolutely be staying again when I return to Malta

We recently stayed for 8 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Alfredo the manager arranged for an airport transfer so the taxi knew exactly where to go. The apartments are in a great location in a quiet side street, and is very convenient and a short walk to all the sites. All the apartments have different configurations and styles - some modern and some traditional and some with balconies. If you desire a specific style I would request during booking. Our specific apartment (no. 3 on the 2nd floor via elevator) was very modern and spacious, with a decent kitchenette with full size fridge, microwave, hotplate and dishwasher. We bought our own supplies for breakfast from the local food market, and this was very convenient for us. The large bed was firm but comfortable. The big attraction here is the lovely rooftop terrace with views over the Grand Harbour where we enjoyed afternoon drinks. One thing to note is that there are currently building works across the road so we were woken at 7.30am every morning. This is not Sally Port's fault, but something to be aware of as we think it will be ongoing for some months.
