Marina Manna Hotel and Club Village ★★★
"the things that I found positive are the room with an excellent bathroom ... and the entertainment guys .. who did their best to make us have fun ... and above all the two very nice bartenders always ready for a joke .... the food was not bad .. the only drawback is the veranda where during the meal you could also have a sauna ... all in all it deserves a good 8"
Bellevue Sardinia Resort, Affiliated by Meliá ★★★★
"DO NOT stay in this hotel. It is absolutely awful. Pool area is terrible, loud nightclub beside hotel which seems to be “always on”. Rooms are small and old fashioned. Food terrible - found plastic in my food on two occasions. We booked ten days and CHECKED OUT after only 1 day. We are loyal melia customers on the reward scheme and didn’t get a penny back from them, they even took back our points despite us still paying for the entire trip."
Hotel Ariadimari ★★★
"- Rooms: The rooms were clean. Mine had modern furniture, while my travel companion's room was furnished in a very old-fashioned style. Unfortunately, my air conditioning was malfunctioning. The staff member/owner blamed it on me (apparently saying I was too stupid to operate it), even though the remote control definitely often didn't work or switched settings on its own. Not fun in 35-degree heat. - Atmosphere: Quiet location. Although in the middle of the village, you can't hear any traffic or anything like that. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy in places. You could hear every step the neighbors upstairs took. - Now, about the owner: One word suffices: Unfriendly. I wonder if he's like that with his fellow countrymen?! The breakfast staff, however, were very friendly. - Pool and garden were very nice. Plenty of seating under the trees. That was definitely the best thing about the whole hotel! The outdoor area had new furniture and was very well-maintained. - Breakfast: Small but good. The selection was adequate, but don't expect a huge buffet. The best part was that you could eat breakfast outside. - Location: Approximately 500m to the lively main street of Valledoria with shops, supermarkets, and restaurants. We always managed to get a table at a restaurant, even in August. (It's worth noting that we usually go to dinner around 7:00/7:30 pm. It can get quite crowded later!) The village itself isn't particularly attractive. You need a car to get to the beach, as it's too far from the hotel to walk. We knew this beforehand, though, and it wasn't a problem. - Valledoria beach is okay; the water was rather brownish during our stay, perhaps due to the river. However, there are nicer beaches towards Costa Paradiso, so it's worth looking around! -> Conclusion: It was okay, but I wouldn't book here again."
Abbaidda Hotel ★★★
"We had a relaxing stay at Abbaidda Hotel in August. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel on our first evening and it was superb. Every dish was full of flavour. Our room was very clean and the cleaning staff do a first rate job. On our last day, we were allowed to use the hotel facilities and shower room as we had a late night flight. They couldn't have been more helpful and thoughtful. We used the hotel as our base to travel to La Pelosa and Alghero. San Pietro Beach is highly recommended and is only five minutes away by car. Agriturismo Crabileddu a few minutes walk from the hotel serves an amazing set menu and is highly recommended. Castelsardo nearby is a lovely place to visit and see the sunset. Overall, a wonderful stay in Sardinia helped by our experience in this lovely hotel."
Club Hotel Residence Baiaverde ★★★
"Such a relaxing place to go on holiday. Could not believe that you could go to the pool at 11am and be the only ones there - not a towel in site! Great size pool, but no jumping in, diving, playing ball or inflatables - just lovely to swim about and relax in (swimming hats not required). The beach, a 2 minute walk away, was lovely, clean and not crowded, Lots of empty sun-beds. Sea was great for swimming in, lovely and clear. A beach bar a couple of minutes walk up the beach. Clean and tidy complex and so quiet considering it was the middle of August. Onsite restaurant was mainly good - Pizzas were delicious. Didn’t always get all meals at the same time but the food was good and portions were generous in most cases. In all, a very peaceful, relaxing, value for money resort. Would definitely recommend to friends."
La Casa di Spinosella Agriturismo ★★★★
Hotel la Ciaccia ★★★
"We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. We were so impressed by the owners and staff's obliging and friendly nature. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The area is quiet and authentic. A small stroll from a lovely beach and restuarant. The pool was gorgeous and never any problem with sun beds or over crowding. This area is simply superb. Nearly 100% Italian speaking, encouraging tourists to engage with the language in so far as possible. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay in Aima and family's hotel and have no doubt will visit again."
GH Santina Resort & Spa ★★★★
"Very kind staff everywhere inside the resort. Spa was clean, our room was cleaned every day, breakfast was almost same in every day but it was good with various selection of food. For dinner the main and hot dishes were different every day and you could find various cold dishes also. Location is good, restaurants, supermarket and beach nearby."

Village & Camping la Foce
"The photos look great, but the reality is very different. The whole place is very run-down badly kept. The ground everywhere is just dusty dirt with weeds interspersed and there's isn't even a paved path to the pool so you have to walk through the dirt to get to it. The pool itself is in poor condition; the plastic liner is torn and bunched up in so many places and the water is not adequately cleaned. The slides are great, but the big slides are only turned on for an hour twice a day (no signs to tell you this - you have to ask the lifeguards). There was a DJ at the pool that blasted music at a horrendously loud volume every day (you couldn't hear someone talking right beside you) and he seemed to have no regard for the people at the pool - he was more interested in impressing the other staff members. There was also very loud music played at the stage area most evenings - I honestly don't know how people in the restaurant could sit there with the noise - we were in a mobile home far away from it and it was loud even there. The cover charge in the restaurant was €3 per person (including children) which was way more than we had experienced elsewhere in Sardinia and mainland Italy. And the washing machine cos about €8 for a single run! There was definitely a feeling of the whole place being run by teenagers - it was all very unprofessional. I complained about the music at night multiple times (it was still blaring after midnight) but nothing was ever done about it. Some other things: the boat to the beach only runs every hour, so that's not the most convenient. If you read some of the more recent 5 star reviews in Italian you will see that they are quite suspicious and look like they are written by staff of the hotel - they are all 2-3 sentences praising specific aspects of the property - exactly like you would read in a brochure. Don't believe them. This is an ok property - we didn't have a bad time here, but we definitely wouldn't go back. It's not up to a minimum standard in my opinion, even considering the price; there are much better places out there. It's a pity, because it has a lot of potential if some investment was made and if it was run properly. "
