Jato was the best host I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. He made sure our stay was comfortable and worry free. The food was spectacular! Louis helped so much as well. Beautiful accommodations at a very reasonable rate. The staff was amazing! Thanks Jato! Have an excellent summer!!

We stayed for three nights at Meson de Leyendas. We had a very pleasant experience. The employees were cordial but personable. The breakfast that was included was pretty good. The Meson offered some nice little touches that one appreciates but does not expect. A violinist played her tunes in the courtyard one evening. They always had a jar of natural fruit flavored water in the courtyard. We were given a plate of fruit, a couple sets of earplugs in our room when we arrived. Matches and a small candle were provided on top of the wood stove in the room. These small details were included in the cost of the room. It was our first visit to Valle de Bravo. Loved it. The Mesón is centrally located providing easy walking access to the water and the Pueblo. Off street parking was provided as well.

Wonderful small hotel in a terrific location! It’s far enough off the main square to be quiet, but an easy five minute walk to the cultural heart of town. We will be staying here again! The staff are extremely friendly, and some speak very good English. Everyone was really kind about my terrible Spanish. The restaurant has incredible handmade food with a dozen dishes of homemade sauces for every meal! Live music for two hours on the weekends, but not late. Incredibly fast Wi-Fi, I was able to work when I needed to. They can arrange excursions anytime you want. Berkey water filters throughout the property. Beautiful courtyard gardens! Very comfortable beds. I can’t say enough good about this place. You will enjoy it immensely!

We stayed here in February 2025 with a tour group to see the Monarch butterfly migration. The room was very quaint and spacious. A draw back was that it was very noisy from outside. They did leave ear plugs in your room for that and I think there may be a noise ordinance in the town because around 11 PM to 7 AM it was pretty quiet. There are alot of motor bikes around. The courtyard in the center of the inn was very tropical looking and there was a restaurant there. Alex was our server most of the time we were there and he was very attentive. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely time at Meson de Leyendas. The beautiful courtyard, delicious meals, comfortable bed and overall ambiance was excellent. The whole place has a lot of charm and character while still maintaining high standards of comfort and cleanliness. The church, zocalo and lakefront were within an easy walk. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Valle de Bravo.

We stayed here 2 nights in a room with terrace. The hotel is on a corner of 2 roads and provides earplugs which are necessary. The hotel is comfortable and we very much enjoyed the big bath with abundant hot water. However be aware that Mexican hotels are very good at photographing their rooms to look much more luxurious than they actually are!! The soa is very seedy these days. You probably need to spend $200 pn to get anything approaching luxury…

Really like this hotel. The environment is so lush and tropical and each room is so interesting.. and the restaurant and staff, especially Alex, offers delicious food for breakfast and dinner. Woodfired pizzas are great.! Highly recommend.
