"We stayed at this hotel six years ago. Since then, the thermal baths and spa have been transformed for the better. Everything is excellent. However, the apples in the public areas have disappeared. Breakfast is now in the main restaurant, and it's wonderful. There was a lot of snow, so we dined at the hotel restaurant. It was a bit pricey, but delicious. We'll definitely come back. The only way to get to the hotel is along the shore of Lake Como. In winter, you'll need chains to cross the pass, and even then, it's not guaranteed you'll make it."

"We stayed here last year to drive the Stelvio Pass in our 'new' (to us) sports car but after relentless overnight rain the pass was closed the next morning due to a landslide So decided to try again this year but book 2 nights for a little flexibility. We were made most welcome by Melanie & Elena who remembered us which was so lovely. Thank you both. A very comfortable stay in a room with a balcony which enabled us to leave the door open for a cooler nights sleep. Breakfast is included & the restaurant/pizzeria is very good value but be aware there is only pizza available on a Monday. We booked direct & payment is taken at time of booking, not sure how this would apply on any booking platforms but we're happy with this..... Great driving routes via St Moritz & Livigno, Umbrail Pass from Switzerland which joins the Stelvio Pass or travelling to/from Innsbruck."

"I was the first family to check in for one week skiing holidays. Staying with small kids, I have asked at the checkin for a quiet room. Lady assured me I am getting it. Instead I got one just above Piano Bar. On the first night there was a disco till midnight, which made it impossible for the kids to go to sleep. When I asked the owner to turn the volume down a bit, he sent me back telling me it is hotel and it is normal… My judgement, with such an approach, I won’t be back. You can decide on your own."
