Outstanding hotel with Lionshead outside the door and a quick walk to Vail Village. Very attentive staff with great facilities and easy access to the mountain. I loved the heated pool on a cold winter's day. If you need a ride around town, the staff will drive you directly, and you can also call and they'll come pick you up and drive you back to the hotel.

Cannot speak highly enough about Susan from the coffee shop! She was so kind and professional and made everyone in our family very happy with their drinks. We would come back just to see her again! Thanks for making our stay that much more memorable.

Really nice hotel. We took a last minute trip here from Denver to see the fall colors. The resort fee and parking fee (totaling more than $130 after tax, per day) are just absurdly high for what the hotel offers but that’s all we had to pay due to a great redemption rate and a 50k free night certificate. Looking at it from that perspective it was a deal- not crowded, no wait for anything, had the pool to ourselves all night, beautiful view from the room, and the staff was great. We’re only Gold level with Bonvoy but they gave us an amazing room, late check out, free breakfast, and the smores and whiskey tasting were great. Would recommend this hotel highly to folks looking to use free night certificates, but can’t recommend it otherwise due to the cost and the added resort and parking fees.

beautiful hotel with sizable rooms, friendly and friendly staff they do not make up your room every day unless you request a refresh or more towels, etc. but were very accommodating. dinner was a disaster on several fronts, but to be fair the manager did what she could to rectify the situation - I blame it on the kitchen where coincidentally a new chef was going to be starting in a few days - can't help by feel the current chef wasn't concerned about the job any more. breakfast was wonderful so obviously there must be a different staff for that close enough to walk into lionshead or vail - or plenty of hotel or local shuttles to take into town free of charge

I stayed here last year in May during mud season. I loved it then, and decided to bring hubby along this time. Still love it. Both times the rooms were fantastic, yet completely different! The gym and whirlpool are perfect for a little exercise or too ease your muscles after some good times outside. The bike trail is just a few feet away and goes on and on. Downtown Vail and Lionshead are a quick bike ride away or a shorter walk. The Breakfast Buffet is amazing! Definitely luxurious! This time around a couple of the staff members were a little crabbier, but with 3 weddings going on, I'm sure they had a lot to deal with. Maybe just help them get a breath now and then.

We moved to two different rooms. Neither got below 72 degrees at night. Very uncomfortable. No acknowledgment from the hotel. Very unlike this brand. And very disappointing.

Everything about the hotel was top-notch. Our room was really nice and the bed was very comfortable. The lobby is beautifully appointed, with free coffee in the morning, a lovely heated outdoor pool, a great workout area, and a wonderful restaurant/bar. Every staff member was friendly, but a special shout-out to Elizabeth from Jamaica, the hostess at the restaurant. She went out of her way to make sure everything about our meal was great. I forgot my phone when we went up to the room after dinner. Within minutes, she called to let me know they had found it. So thoughtful!

There aren’t enough superlatives for me to conjure in describing what an extraordinary stay and how extraordinary the staff was at every opportunity. Previous reviewers spoke about the level of service and willingness to go beyond the standard in describing hotel staffers. From firsthand experience, I can tell you this is absolutely true. To a degree, I want to downplay my compliments so as not to change the character of this hotel and keep it a secret but the truth is it’s an extraordinary place. It’s a gem. Its location wonderful, clean, ultra lux. Will stay there again without hesitation. Thank you Hythe!
