We really enjoyed our stay here. Felt like we were welcomed into a friend or relatives home.

Historic hotel in a wonderful setting ruined by terrible room and lack of service, the room we were given did not meet the standards I would expect from 4-star accommodation. My primary concern was the very loud generator located directly next to our room, which made it impossible to sleep with the windows open. Compounding this issue, the air conditioning was not functioning properly, resulting in an uncomfortably hot night. Additionally, when we returned to our room after dinner, there was no one available at reception to address our concerns, nor was there an emergency contact number provided. I find this lack of support particularly surprising and unacceptable for a hotel of this rating. Beyond these issues, the room itself felt cramped and dated, and the beds were both small and uncomfortably soft. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. Given the number of rooms available in your lovely historic building, I was surprised to be placed in a small outbuilding on a busy road next to a noisy generator. I hope you will take this feedback seriously, as the current arrangement does not reflect the quality or comfort expected from a 4-star establishment.

It was very nice old buildings, a little bit cold! But overall it was good! But dont go shopping on a sunday becuase almost everything is closed! The food in the restaurant was amazing! Top notch!

This may not be a five star hotel, but you will fall in love with the Klosterhotel nevertheless. Situated on picturesque grounds overlooking Sweden's second largest lake, this hotel offers an altogether unique history, comfortable rooms, and exquisite dining. It's capable staff will welcome you and guide you through your stay. Included in the "package" (which is a tremendous value) is a delicious afternoon tea featuring an amazing variety of post-arrival treats), wine tasting in the hotel's ancient and well stocked wine cellar, an exquisitely tasty dinner handsomely served, and a breakfast buffet that rivals that of the very best hotels in Paris.
