Good hotel

It was an memorable experience in this hotel to our entire family during our staying period of trip to vadodara ...we were satisfied with the staff in the reception and restaurant particularly ..the persons like neelima mam,vikas ,sujit ,chef rana ,chef thanaji , Sunil ,jaynath,rushi,ali,lurin,pari ...they treated us like a family but not simply as customers to them..we received very heart warming gestures from them..very friendly and very cooperative and served the tasty and wt ever food we ordered during our staying period at vivantha by Taj....thank u so much everybody for this hospitality....

The service is exemplary. However the room which I was alloted requires proper maintainence. But for this the hotel makes you feel pampered.

I have a very good experience of stay at vivanta baroda. Specially the food is good and well prepared. Staff is very polite and up for service. Will carry this experience. The hotel is located at akota baroda. Have a good experience ata good budget.

What a wonderful hotel with first class guest centric service from the whole team through the hotel from the security team, front desk team, room cleaning team and of course the wonderful restaurant team. Even before we arrived Bhawna picked up my email query swiftly re my room and organised our request in advance. All of the hotel team are warm and welcoming which adds to the family feel of the hotel. The restaurant team’s service and the food was excellent. Chef’s Abdul, Anna and Surya and the whole kitchen team always looked to ensure guests were happy. The restaurant waiting service team also went above and beyond and always with a warm smile, thank you to Neelima, Vikas, Jaynath, Paru and all of the other team members who served us, you are all a wonderful team. Thank you again to the whole team at Vivanta Vadodara, we are having a wonderful time due to your exceptional service and warmth. We look forward to coming back with our daughters soon. ❤️

We stayed for less than 12 hrs... while the staff at the front desk and housekeeping were friendly, prompt and did whatever was asked for (specially housekeeping, given we had some extra requirements - they did a splendid job with a smile). We felt let down at the restaurant, the F&B staff were clueless, couldn't quite well understand either English or Hindi and was extremely inattentive both to customers as well as given food orders. Even being their platinum members, we felt terribly let down, think about other guests who might not be privileged (though we strongly promote and urge same guest service irrespective of membership/ category). We had ordered for aloo paratha to be packed for our onward road-trip to Aurangabad from Vadodara, the staff ended up packing a single aloo paratha for us 3 (we somehow felt, they didn't even think through). The F&B manager did call up multiple times post feedback was shared that night over phone and did apologise/ own up for the goof up, but the blunder was done.. May be, it was we who expected similar kind of service from a business hotel the likes we had received from other Taj properties during the same trip (Wow Crest Indore, Sawai Madhopur Lodge, Damdama Resort & Spa Gurgaon, Tree of life Amara Udaipur, Gir Serai SasanGir and Gateway Aurangabad - do check up our reviews on tripadvisor) 3 things that should be done at the property: 1. Tajness is lacking - serve guests from the heart (connect with people beyond the protocol, service would automatically be superb) 2. F&B staff needs training - communication, guest service and more importantly to be extremely focused and responsible when taking orders 3. As a practise follow guest background check 24 hrs before checking to earmark you guest, that will help you know, understand, connect with your guest better You are in the services industry, where guest experience matters over anything else. I am sure you would work on the above and strongly believe would have a better experience next time we visit you...cheers!!
