Urumqi Wanguo Hotel (International Grand Bazaar)

Returned to stay again in this hotel. This time, 21st floor staircase not badly filled with cigarettes smoke smell. Like very much the same large room which we requested to stay again. Breakfast wise, it is so funny that we have to go reception to collect breakfast voucher for next morning. Noted many quests were not issued breakfast coupons when checking in hence they had to go to reception to get vouchers before eating. Also the breakfast is poor in that the helpers there do not replenish them again- eggs fried rice etc. Late comers probably have not much to eat except leftovers which is very bad experience for us when eating for first time.

The room has special smell which is not so fresh, hence the location is not close from night bazaar (15-20mins walk) the carpet hallway&elevator are dirty. Room size is spatious

Wall is totally not sound proof. So much banging sound from doors, walking sound, screening sound? I asked to have my room changed after the first night. Hotel did change for me but same issu.could sleep very well foe my 3 nights there

I encountered a prolonged power outage owing to heavy rain. However, when i checking out a day ahead of schedule due to private personal matters, front desk staffs voluntarily proposed and arrange me one day refund. I was quite impressed from her hospitality. Thank you very much.

The room is new and clean. We are really impressed. The stuff also is very kind and Top service. Hotel location is convenient to go around urumqi.
