It was very noisy to get any sleep until 1am due to kids running up hallway and people talking and laughing in hall. The shower was very poor when I went to turn it on it was like handle was gonna fall off and had very little pressure and very little hot water. Air conditioner was very load and banging when it came on. Don’t think I’ll be staying at the hotel again

I have traveled all over the world and stayed at all kinds of places but NEVER before have I had a blanket with an obvious urine stain provided to me - this is a new low! Friendly staff can't really compensate for that - DISGUSTING - stay away!!

I booked this place because there was a hottub and pool...never did it mention on the webpage that both were shutdown.. First room had cigarettes and smoke, the front desk person moved us quickly. Second room is okay, clean, but needs some updating. Coffee maker in room only had decaf coffee pods and the fridge is stupidly small. Second morning no coffee or breakfast because someone took the key home. What!?? Breakfast is nothing special, yogurt, crappy muffins and packaged cereal, should have been put out, this isn't hard people! We can all be touching the community Milk container but can't make a waffle from the community waffle maker?? No breakfast, no hot coffee on day two. Issues with shower,.water coming out from top and bottom at same time, no fan in shower. Headboard of bed was dirty with handprints, Shower floor gross. I had to sanitize headboard from handprints and grime on it. I will be demanding a discount for this place. What a shame, was hoping to book it again in July. Nope, will stick with my usual Hilton Hotels.

Never have I ever come across as many long, black stray hairs at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. On the comforter. Between the sheets. On the pillow. On thé handtowel. Mascara stains on the pillowcases. Mysterious congealed substance on the front of the sink. Unfathomably bad. And that’s all that I was able to see... imagine what was there that I couldn’t see! 😱

This place does not deserve any stars. My family of 4 stayed here A WEEK AGO for a pay to play event for my daughter’s lacrosse tournament. I just received a phone call from the hotel staff stating that housekeeping “found” the television broken after my stay. She’s claiming we were the last people in that room, which is an absolute lie. We happened to leave our laptops in the room after check out and had to go back and get them. Someone had already been in the room and brought the laptops down to the front desk, where they were waiting when we returned. No mention of a broken TV at that time despite someone clearly having gone in and retrieved our laptops. Hmm. That’s so strange…. According to her, the general manager instructed her to call me to let me know they were going to be charging my account. I adamantly told her we didn’t even use the TV because we have our own devices we stream from, but because the housekeeper told her it was broken, obviously it was our fault despite zero proof. I travel frequently and have stayed at many hotels, air b&b’s, and vrbo’s and have never been accused of something so egregious because “a house keeper said so”. I’m not surprised they’re falsely accusing, and trying to charge people for damages they didn’t cause because I can’t imagine they are getting any repeat business with this kind of customer service. When I asked her name (because I absolutely plan to report her and her GM’s disgusting accusations to their superiors), she refused to give it to me. That right there should tell you all you need to know. If you believe what you’re saying, why not say it loudly with your whole chest? We’ve already shut down the credit card so good luck charging me with your false claims, Fools! Now I will be posting all over the Internet how trash the staff at this hotel is. Avoid at all cost!! You’ll thank me later. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this place.

I drove over 9 hours from Chicago to attend my stepson’s graduation and chose Wingate by Wyndham in Mechanicsburg specifically because the website listed a pool and spa—key amenities that influenced my booking. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn both were closed due to renovations, which was never clearly stated on the hotel’s website or on Priceline, where I made the reservation. I addressed my concerns with the General Manager, Denise Young, who claimed the closure was listed under policies, but I could not locate this information, and nothing was posted on the main pages. This lack of transparency caused major inconvenience, especially since I had to attend an event right after check-in and could not cancel. I believe important service updates like this should be clearly communicated upfront. I am requesting compensation for the misleading experience and the inconvenience it caused.

Room was disgusting. The fridge did not stay cold. We had a hole in the wall where the smoke detector should have been. The shower was rusty. The bed squeaked horrible with ever slight move. The room smelled. We were charged $194 per night and left 14 hours early, could not take the room one more second. We verified that the pool and spa were working from the hotel staff at the location 2 days prior. Apparently, according to other staff members, the pool and the spa were closed several days before our arrival for maintenance. We had no extra towels or pillows despite our 3 requests.

The hotel is under renovation so the pool and gym are closed. The internet was not working in the room, thanks to REI that we can switch to another room without trouble. Overall it’s a reasonable hotel with easy access, just needs a little bit of touch up here and there. The breakfast station is clean with enough varieties.
