There is no shower in the room. Use public bath. As foreigners we are not used to it. Food is good.

Comfortable modern Onsen. Delicious meals. Clean and everything seems new. Quite a distance from town center, prefer to have own transport

Hotel was newly renovated, the room and the common areas are all very stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Both the indoor and outdoor onsens and the lounge area are clean, beautiful and enjoyable. It was the best hotel in our entire trip. Highly recommended.

The cloudy hot spring water was very gentle on the skin. The facilities were clean, and the surrounding green mountains were beautiful, so we had a wonderful day. The food was delicious and plentiful, even if we didn't order anything special. The only thing that was disappointing was that there was only one key to the room, so it was inconvenient to either coordinate our time with my husband or go to the hot spring separately.

Excellent hotel, very dense national dinner, coped with difficulty. Very clean, comfortable, everything is fresh, nice black spring. But be careful with the transfer, too early or too late (although 15.30 in our opinion is not late), and there will be no free transfer. There is no particular problem here, well, except for finances. Our own transfer cost us more than 30 thousand Yen, both ways, in total. But this has nothing to do with the amenities of the hotel, just check in advance and plan your route based on this

It's quiet, clean, and the transportation is convenient. It takes you from the ferry terminal to Seiunso in one go, and when you check out, it takes you to Unzen. Kaiseki and breakfast are delicious. I'd like to book again next time.

The environment is so good, the sulfur hot springs here♨️are definitely real hot springs♨️! The hotel is located in Unzen City, which is a resort for Kyushu people. The Unzen Hell Scenic Area is right next to the main road. It is very large and feels more shocking than the Hell Valley in Hakone. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are gorgeous, but to be honest, the meat is a bit thin. The open-air bath and large bath are both good, especially the open-air bath facing the forest landscape and open for a long time. The best thing is the service. Although some service staff don't speak English very well, they are very enthusiastic. Knowing that we didn't drive by ourselves, they sent us to another city a hundred kilometers away in a commercial vehicle. In fact, the transportation of the hotel itself is also very convenient. If you come from Shimabara, you can arrive directly at the hotel door. If you come from Isahaya or Nagasaki, the bus will go to the city center and you need to transfer or walk to the hotel in about 15 minutes. The only drawback is that the room does not have a bathroom, which is more like a traditional Japanese hotel.

The hot springs are really great. The countryside in Japan is a very simple place and should be even more comfortable in the summer.
