Red Roof Inn Columbus - Hebron

Stayed here for one night with family and will NEVER stay at a RedRoof Inn again!! Booked a double queen bed room. When I checked in the lady at the desk tried to give me one king bed- not going to work for 4 of us. Gave us two double beds instead. Room was on first floor. Window was broken and wouldn’t stay locked or shut, had a bar holding it closed. Dirt on floor, stains on sheets and towels, chair peeling, stains in toilet, flys all over room, and you could hear people stomping upstairs. My husband complained to front desk. They put us on second floor in someone’s else’s room who had not checked in yet. The second room was not much better. Stains on comforters, towels. Toilet and shower. Smoke smell and neighbors who were smoking all night so that the room and our clothes reeked of cigarette smoke. Water smelled like metal. Tried to find another motel close by, but they were all booked. Don’t stay here!!! They should be paying money to people who stay here. Motel needs an over haul with new management and cleaners along with a good remodel. If not then it needs to be shut down!

It’s just bad, only stay if your desperate. It stinks like water damage and bugspray right in the front door. Right from check in my keys had to get reprogrammed 5x and would not work, so had to hop rooms. Both rooms smelled like they had been smoked in for weeks, body hair and dust everywhere. Other notes: floors cracking, sheets, curtains, ac unit you name it, all should have been replaced years ago. To top it off I’m pretty sure the bug I killed underneath my sink was a baby roach.

The room gave me lung cancer. The room smelled like it smoked 2 packs of cigarettes a day for 30 years. When turning on the bed it would make an awful noise. I will never stay there again.
