Within walking distance of the uMhlanga Sands and main beachfront (and the local Parkrun!), as well as a really good shopping mall the Lazy Lizard is perfectly located next to a delightful park, where you may enjoy views over the sea, too! The room itself was beautifully appointed and private, with its own braai area, parking, and (my favourite): a shower with a skylight... magnificent... It'll be on top of my list when I return to uMhlanga

Quiet location. Comfortable. Nice decor. SATELLITE TV. 2 minutes from all amenities. Host accommodating on last day as we did not need to go to Airport until afternoon so we could store bags in apartment. A good base for our business trip in Umhlanga.

A beautiful place with all necessary equipment in the room and beautiful surroundings. The beach is a short walk though I rented the car. The host is very prompt and helpful. All the amenities are in a short range (drive) from the property. Highly recommended!

Lovely place just 2min drive to the sea,but I enjoyed walking the,very safe extremely clean,stunning in and out, lovely staff ever smiling, lazy lizard will rervive your energy take your stress away trust me, I love the place and all the time I visit durban I will book the place if is fully booked I will definitely wait I love it big time

It has a home away from home feel. The warm hosts keep the room well maintained. The location is also convenient to get to most shops and places around the area. Yet it still offers a secluded feel and parking.

I was very happy with the apartment, Great value for money. Excellent service and a must go again. The host was very friendly, warm hearted ans welcoming. Ideal location for a perfect quiet getaway. I was really impressed.

The warmly welcomed by host, exceptionally clean and we'll maintained, location is central to amenities, private garden, 5 minutes walk to the beach, room cleaned everyday . will definitely be coming back
