I loved my stay at the Anchor's Rest Guest House they went the extra mile to accommodate me and they were helpful with check in and attending to my needs. Friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast that any person will rave about, I will most definitely recommend them and make use of them on my next business trip.

The lovely owners, together with their staff, run a nice little guest house. Rooms are of nice size, clean and tidy. Cozy breakfast and well-stocked honour bar. Excellent location, with walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach.

I was given a small self catering unit under the garage which I was unaware of when I booked. The unit was dark and dungie and had a very disturbing smell when you entered. The unit also consisted of a bath and no shower. I expected a much better experience considering the price. When I bought this to the management's attention, it seemed they were well aware of it. I would have appreciated a call from the owner regarding my experience, unfortunately that never happened.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here while we were in town for business. We were greeted warmly by the lovely owner Cilla on the first evening and then every morning by Sandy. We enjoyed our morning chats at breakfast with Sandy. The breakfast spread was superb. The omelletes were out of this world! Best ever! The staff were lovely, the room very comfortable and spacious. It had a fridge which we made use of for snacks. All little details were thought about to make sure that you had everything we needed. There is WI-FI in the rooms as well. We utilized the laundry service, which was great. We stayed in the superior room and loved it. We will be back! Thank you Anchor's Rest team for making our trip comfortable!

We had a one night visit to Anchors Rest Guest house. It was supposed to be 2 nights but due to flight issues it became 1 unfortunately. Cilla was a lovely host and made us very welcome. Our room had all we needed and was very comfortable.
