Hotel Pelegrin Plava Laguna
"I had placed a lot of expectations on this holiday, but I have to say that unfortunately I was very disappointed!!! Hotel that claims to have 5 stars, but I would say that at most I can give it 3! The hotel needs to do a lot of work, from the air conditioning system, which leaks continuously and is consequently very dangerous because if it gets wet on the floor a somewhat absent-minded tourist can fall. The rooms are old and the carpet in 2023 is no longer visible! If we want to talk about the food I can tell you that during our stay we only ate grilled chicken and boiled potatoes.... The pasta, inedible, overcooked and all the sauces contained unwanted cream..... After having booked on December 24th 8 months in advance expressly asking for a quiet room, there are 250, they assigned me 349 above the loading and unloading of goods and therefore from 5.30 in the morning it was a hellish mess and we had to get up.... A nightmare!!! The pool staff were very rude and only one spoke Italian, all the others Croatian or very little incomprehensible English. I have to say one positive thing, the reception staff, especially Doriano, very good and helpful. I also have to say good things about the waitresses, the waiters at breakfast and dinner service, Edo was very good and a special applause goes to Katrin from Consierg, because she tried in every way to sweeten the bitter taste in our mouths of the holiday, trying to partially remedy the inconveniences, offering us a gazebo in the park for free and a bottle of wine at the end of the stay. If I can give a piece of advice to the property, apart from the pool staff, keep the other people close!!!"
Hotel Natura Vilanija
Hotel Aurora Plava Laguna
"My partner and I spent a week in August. Well-kept structure, in a wonderful setting! Sea in front, a wonderful pine forest with a walkable path that leads to Umag, with a train available, which passes by marinas, villas, other resorts. Beautiful! Rooms: clean and comfortable All inclusive: everything is there! Catering: beautiful room with terrace overlooking the sea. Good quality, the choice is varied, and they have alternatives for intolerances, just a little repetitive. For the cost in August and the stars should put in a little more effort. Beach: convenient, a stone's throw away, clear sea and pebble-free areas, with sand. Very easy access. Cemented area with lots of sunbeds and umbrellas. You just have to rush to grab them. There needs to be more control from the workers. Overall a relaxing, nature-filled stay in an area such as Istria that is beautiful to visit. I think we will return to a chain hotel!"
Petram Resort & Residences
"I've traveled to many places in Europe, and this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in!"
Hotel Sipar Plava Laguna
"The room is perfect, the balcony faces the sea But the front desk service is average and not enthusiastic The restaurant near the hotel is not good"
Residence Garden Istra Plava Laguna
"I stayed in this hotel only 2 days and I have to say it was really pleasant. 5 stars to the rooms, pools and food. I recommend it. It is ideal for families. Children have free lunch and also a snack. Staff very kind and always available. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended. See you soon"
Residence Umag Plava Laguna
"Incredibly a great hotel! Breakfast is improved but otherwise perfectly takes the Garden Suites "
Hotel Umag Plava Laguna
"We stayed in this hotel for a mini vacation with our granddaughter for 4 days. We were just before the hotel closes (end of season). The hotel was full. We had a room with a balcony and a sea view - wonderful. The room was big, clean. A cot was prepared for the granddaughter. The bathroom may be a bit dated. The choice of food (breakfast, dinner) was large and it was good. Most of the staff were very friendly. Only the employees who cleaned the tables in the dining room were in a worse mood. We didn't go to the pool, because there were always a lot of people. We preferred to take advantage of the beautiful sunny days for walks."
Camping Stella Maris Mobile Homes
"Pitches well organized but economy pitches a bit unlevel, you have to maneuver a lot. Water in taps smells chlorine.Cleaning of toilets twice a day. Many facilities. Water dropout for campervan only in one place. warning!!!!!On site market cheats on receipts. SELF CHECKOUTS are constantly out of order and a young cashier adds random things to your receipts. When reprimanded tries to pretend the checkout is failing. The situation repeats frequently.!!!!!!!!Good food in laguna grill and o,grill. Nice smoothies nearby the dog beach in a bar."

Istrian Villas Plava Laguna
"We are staying at the Istrian villa for the second time. We had an excellent experience last year. Unfortunately we were disappointed arriving today as we were given a smaller villa (yet in the same category) located in front of the house keeping room. It is very loud and smoky, which is really a pity for a village that is supposed to offer a premium experience. We have requested weeks ago to reserve the same villa than last year, but we were informed at the reception today that they do not take into consideration such requests. Poor customer experience, especially for returning customers."
Apartments and Rooms Degra
"Extremely pleasant ambience. Clean, tidy, harmonious interior. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Unobtrusive but with a lot of useful information. The location is excellent, quiet and surrounded by lot of green, far enough from the crowd and noise, and close enough to all interesting contents . Everything you need within a few minutes of walking or driving. Excellent value for money"
Camping Park Umag Mobile Homes
"My stay in 2025 was terrible. The camper pitch was bad—blocked by a tree and lamp, so I couldn’t park. I asked reception for help, but they gave me three worse pitches. Stayed on the original one disputing the fact that was close to a noisy road, loud all day and night. No hot water in our facility area the whole time. When I told it to reception staff, they said go to another place for hot water. Imagine carrying dishes and shower things far away! Staff were rude and ignored me. My son got hurt on the football field. A ball hit his head, and his eye was bloody. It was evening, so we went to a hospital near hospital in Izola (Slovenia not Croatia – you will need to pay if the accident happened in Croatia). We stayed there all night and paid €900. I talked to the manager, Thomas, to at least get a refund for that day since we spend it in the hospital. He didn’t care and told me to find the boy who kicked the ball. He also didn’t care about no hot water or noisy road. He smiled and said write a bad review. Staff were stressed and no help. This place is expensive, noisy, and not safe. I tell everyone: don’t go! Even if free, I won’t go back. Lucky we had other places to stay on our trip. I don’t recommend Camping Park Umag at all!"
Villa Irena
"We had a great week with three children in this beautiful house - beautiful rooms, everything was new and furnished to a high standard, everything you need in terms of accessories, dishes and appliances, the landlords are very nice. The pool was wonderful"
Karmen
"The apartment is super the surrounding area is very beautiful."
Skiper Golf Resort
Albina
"The accommodation itself is conveniently furnished, the furniture has come somewhat into the years, but still okay. The renter is a older nice lady that also speaks good German. The swimming pool is not very large, but was maintained and was almost always"
Villa Badi
"The room is a little tattered but the service was good. Ikea-like furniture, felt more like a college dorm than a hotel room. Broken easy chair, drawer underneath sink also faulty. Only place in 8+ hotels I stayed at in Croatia that offered tea in the room, not just coffee, a rarity. No elevator so up the stairs with heavy luggage to third floor. My room had a view of the beach. Minuscule balcony but nice view of olive orchards and sunset over the Adriatic Sea. Off-season so pool wasn’t open. A good 8-10 minute walk to the beach where there is a walkway. Definitely not much to see or do once here but a good place to relax from a long day of biking. Makes for a quiet place being so far from anything. A lot of biking tours seem to stop here so they are used to dealing with us hungry bikers. Breakfast was average but sufficient. Nice to be able to sit near large glass doors with a view."
Garden Suites Umag Plava Laguna
"We do not recommend this hotel. We stayed at Garden suits - first impression was terribe. The room was not cleaned. We had ants everywhere, the floors were dirty and the terrace/outside was dirty. We went to reception who sent room service to take care of the ants. We did not get any apology, they said that they have this problem in other rooms too. The garden suit absolutly doesen't deserve 4.5 stars - it doesent have hair dryer, doesent have coffee maker and its obvious they dont tidy it properly. We also had problems with wellness beacuse in the booking app there is no explenation you have to make appointment in advance to go to spa - beacuse we didnt know that they didnt let us inside. Staff in wellness gave us no explanation or apology. Wellness was included in price and we had to pay full price even though we didnt have a chance to use it. The food is the brightest point of our stay, beacuse its really lots of options and its really delicious!!"
