"Very helpful staff and great location"

"The hotel is very quiet. The location looks like an apple town. Every household has apple trees. The backyard of the hotel is right by the fjord. It is very suitable for a leisurely vacation here for a few days. The air is very good."

"we arrived at 1130, but there was no staff there. After a while we got to speak to an employee who said we could only find a place and come up to pay after 1500. We found our place and went out on a bike ride. When we returned at 1500 the same person came down to say that we could not stand where we did - and that in the meantime it had become full. We were regularly expelled. He blamed the boss who was so strict, and showed no thought at all of solving the problem. We were told to leave. This is the most horrible customer service we have ever experienced. This man needs to be fired. We quickly got out of the "hole" Ulvik, and chose just as well to end the holiday. after 6 hours we are finally home and can relax."

"We stayed here after driving from Bergen to experience the Fjords… it certainly didn’t disappoint! The drive itself there was stunning and the surroundings to the camp are simply breathtaking. This was a perfect was to experience ‘posh’ camping in a cosy yurt with our own little campfire to cook on an evening. After having the delicious homemade pancakes in the cafe we were full for most of the day! We hired kayaks to take out on to the Osafjord and what an unforgettable experience, no words can describe it fully. We then hiked some of the local paths and village before soaking up the shore of the Fjord on an evening. The location is ideal to see some other local Fjords, we had a short drive (45 minutes) to Eidfjord which was also beautiful. We feel very lucky to have for to experience Norway this way and one of the most special places I’ve ever been to! Thank you again for the kind hospitality and creating such a beautiful place. We’ll certainly be back!"
