Americas Best Value Inn New Paltz ★★
"Remote and quiet location"
Eastwind Hotel Oliverea Valley ★★
"The Eastwind Oliverea Valley is a boutique hotel surrounded with a natural escapism environment and located amongst the Catskill mountains. It is cloaked in a slice of pristine nature consisting of peaked mountains, lush forests, a sleepy stream creeping parallel to the property and the open sky. I was enthralled with my King Loft Scandinavian-inspired accommodations. The loft space accessibility by ladder was cool. The antique desk was much appreciated as was the window nook and large window that afforded a glorious view of the hillside. The area was cozy and use of the outdoor lounge made me feel 'alone with nature' and brought the outdoors in. Overall, this abode and surroundings presented an atmosphere of 'elegant silence'. The Dandelion is Eastwind's full service restaurant providing an all day menu of inventive cocktails and small plates. Dinner is menued with such delicacies as Dry Aged Pork Chops to Venison Sausages. I opted for Butternut Soup and Lohikeitto ( a Finnish fish chowder). The soup was a standout and the chowder .........was out of this world. A bevy of on property amenities include: a swimming pool, sunrise yoga sessions, guided hikes, and other (weather permitting) activities like skiing (my favorite), snowboarding, horseback riding, fly fishing, biking, hiking and more. So, if you seek a respite from the stressors of urban living in an environment cloaked in naturalism.............then try the ..........Eastwind Oliverea Valley.........Elegant Seclusion."

Wildflower Farms, Auberge Collection
"We recently escaped to Wildflower Farms for a one-night stay to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It's only a short drive from northern New Jersey, yet it feels like an entirely different world. From the moment we arrived, the overwhelming sense of peace was impossible to miss. Time seemed to slow as we wandered the beautiful grounds, enjoyed an exceptional dinner at Clay, and relaxed with treatments at Thistle Spa. We spent the afternoon by the pool, where thoughtful touches like farm-inspired cocktails and a refreshing cup of frozen blueberries, harvested right from the farm, made the experience feel even more special. The highlight, though, was the staff's incredible attention to detail. Before our arrival, the service coordinator thoughtfully placed a record player in our room so I could surprise my husband by playing our wedding song. It was such a meaningful gesture and perfectly captured the level of care we experienced throughout our stay. There truly wasn't a single detail overlooked. The hospitality was exceptional, and we left already looking forward to returning."

"Yeah no. Overpriced for what it is- a nicely designed airbnb with no basic services. Thin wall rooms. Awkward if you stay in the group cottage because you’re essentially stuck in a house with strangers. The restaurant itself was worth it though. The in house gift shop is nice"
Super 8 by Wyndham Kingston
"Don't set your expectations too high, it's good enough as a budget hotel. The sound insulation is poor, and you can hear a lot of noise downstairs if you walk around upstairs at night. If you drive yourself, the parking lot is large and very convenient."
Phoenicia Lodge
"Amazing as always , our stay gets better every year . Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else ."
The Graham & Co.
"Let’s just say for $300 a night they tacked a sheet over the window rather than a curtain, the “kitchen” was one step up from a camper. Don’t stay here The “breakfast” was a yogurt and a little granola in styrofoam- not even hot coffee. Mini bar not restocked and charge for a candy bar $12. Place is ugly as well"
