Das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Koch macht das hervorragend. Leider verweigerte die Chefin den "Piratenteller". Wir schaffen die Portionen nicht mehr. Deshalb teile ich Vorspeise und Hauptgang sehr gerne mit meiner Frau. Das war hier leider unmöglich, hat uns den Abend vermiest (trotz hervorragendem Rehrücken). Die Wirtin hat uns, nach der Frage ob wir teilen könnten angesehen, wie wenn wir von einem anderen Stern kämen. Wir verstehen nicht, wie man (Frau) so stur sein kann. Wir waren ein paar Tage da, wären gerne noch einmal hin, haben uns aber dagegen entschieden, weil diese Haltung unseres Erachtens unangebracht ist.

Lovely Black Forest German Guesthouse
Excellent traditional German guesthouse, family owned and they cared about their property and most importantly their clients, food and service excellent, location perfect for the Black Forest experience and for visiting Schaffhausen and Zurich, it's also better value than Swiss hotels.

Super leckere deutsche Küche mit üppigen Portionen zu einem sehr fairen Preis, die Pommes sind überragend und das Fleisch wie z.B die Schweinelendchen hat immer eine super Qualität. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Meiner Meinung nach ist es das beste deutsche Restaurant in der Umgebung.
