Best Hostel so far, I had 4 fantastic nights, full of amazing people, great food and a bit of craziness.
Dwisha will share all her energy and experience to help you feel part of the Mantra Family.
Anybody in that hostel has been friendly, from workers to volunteers, going often off duty to fulfill our needs.
Attend the karaoke night and be a star!

I had an amazing time at Hostel Mantra! The staff is incredibly welcoming and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is as enjoyable and memorable as possible. They organize fun and relaxing activities every night, creating a great vibe for all guests. The view from the terrace is stunning—just as good as the pictures suggest, if not better! A special shout-out to Dwisha for her tireless efforts to make every guest feel like part of the hostel family. And big thanks to Vineet and Nitin for the exclusive sunrise scooter trips and other unique activities they arrange for hostel residents. These experiences are not to be missed! Overall, Hostel Mantra is the perfect mix of fun, comfort, and community. Highly recommended!

We are usually not the type to write a review, but this time we so care about sharing how good of an experience this was. These guys deserve it so much, it was by far the best hostel we’ve ever been in in India. Starting with the fundamentals: the bed was incredibly comfortable, clean and steady. The bathroom was also super clean- game changer! The location was great, close to the lake and the city center, safe - and the terrace of the hostel is where we spent most of our stay, just couldn’t get enough. It’s also been renovated only a month ago! The kitchen cooked the tastiest food, all done on the spot with fresh ingredients. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, providing great recommendations and simply great company. And lastly, the hostel organised various activities throughout the week, Bollywood movie night, Italian pizza, karaoke, sunrise bike ride, chai sunset, etc. None of them disappointed. Honestly couldn’t recommend this enough! Love, Nicole & Merlyn

Hotel cochambroso. Edificio super viejo y nada limpio. Y además nada barato! La ducha un horror, y lo que se supone que son vistas al lago, es solo un pequeño espacio a un callejón. Aunque estemos en india se podría cuidar un pelín la limpieza.

Staying at Hostel Mantra was an absolutely great experience. I went post Diwali' 24 and shared the female dorm with 3 other women from different nations. I loved their Karaoke night. The highlight of my trip was the Sunrise Tour they took us on, to Baahubali hills and Badi lake. I had the most amount of fun during the same, met so many people and captured the beauty in Udaipur's morning hours, ending with a chatpata bfast with the group. The hostel is very artsy and has ample spaces for someone who wants to work, or chill or party ...it gives out some of the most gorgeous views of Sunset and Lake Pichola @ night. If you're planning a trip soon, book your stay here. I promise, you won't regret!!

Buon hostello in pieno contro Udaipur, ha una bellissima terrazza sul tetto, gli host sono dei ragazzi giovani super alla mano abbiamo passato con loro il Diwali festival ed è stato bellissimo. La stanza era pulita e anche le lenzuola cosa non facile da trovare in india. Per il bagno qualche accortezza in più si potrebbe avere

It's just a perfect hostel, the location is perfect, they have a nice terrace with the best view for sunset and the lake, the staff are super kind people and very friendly, big and clean dorms, everyday they offer some nice activities, good food too!

Very nice staff, beautiful Terace and nice sunrise tour. Udaipur is also stunning and the staff can for sure help you with some suggestions. The laundry service was also quick and easy. They have also some tours and activities that were offering. We for example took the sunrise tour and it was worth waking up so early for sure!
