Best Hostel so far, I had 4 fantastic nights, full of amazing people, great food and a bit of craziness.
Dwisha will share all her energy and experience to help you feel part of the Mantra Family.
Anybody in that hostel has been friendly, from workers to volunteers, going often off duty to fulfill our needs.
Attend the karaoke night and be a star!

Hostel Mantra, tucked away at the end of lal ghat, has a very unique vibe. It has something for everyone. A stunning view of lake pichola from the in-house cafe, right in front of lal ghat so you can sit there whenever you want to and enjoy the peace. Super comfy beds, multiple charging ports, dedicated reading lights and curtains for privacy(only on the bottom bunk), cleanest washrooms I've seen in a hostel. And above all a beautiful team of people who make you feel like home in just a few days of staying. They organize regular events like movie nights, karaoge nights and travel tours to stunning destinations in and around udaipur. Not to mention a wide range of food, good coffee and alcohol availability in the in-house cafe. A must stay hostel in udaipur!

Well managed, absolutely amazing people, Vibes was fantastic, plus location is awesome, You will get good space for bike parking also they organise rides and parties which you can enjoy additionally. Beds were well cleaned Rooftop was perfect place to sit and relax and enjoy lake puchola view. Also market is at walking distance

Honestly, I feel like Mantra has to be the best hostel in Udaipur. Even friends I met there who stayed at other hostels said the same, so I guess that pretty much says it all! The dorms are super spacious, everything is kept really clean—washrooms, common areas, all of it. Plus, the location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the city. Ashish, the co-owner, really gets what travelers are looking for. He’s got this perfect mix of business sense and genuine care, and it shows in the way the hostel runs. The volunteers—Om, Dimple, and Anurag—made the place feel even more special. They were always around, hanging out, making everyone feel welcome, and creating that warm, homely vibe. I had an absolutely amazing time at Mantra and would 100% go back without thinking twice.

The staff and hosts are incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready with great local suggestions. The location is perfect, with everything nearby. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with water coolers on each floor and a drying area. Evenings are the highlight — starting with a stunning sunset and free chai, and often ending with fun rooftop activities like karaoke, jamming sessions, or movie nights. PS: They also offer a morning tour to beautiful sunrise point and other spots.

One of the best hostel experience I've had. The hosts were so warm and welcoming and helpful with the suggestions. Has a prime location. City palace is at walking distance. Lal ghat is almost at the doorstep. The view from the rooftop is stunning. If you're doing a workation like me, there was a dedicated common room with fast wifi, has a gorgeous view of sunset in the evenings
